Please read the first line: it is an internal DCx memo to all dealerships.
So it's not really a "recall"; more like one of those "secret warranty" replacement deals where they'll try to make you pay for it if they think they can get away with it -- like with the 1st gen head gaskets?

i just bought my 05' last week!!! it has 330 miles on it. im going to the dealership tomorrow. so according that note, the dealership drives the car, they listen for engine noise or misfiring during and after driving? and if they hear nothing, they dont have to fix it? what happens if my car blows up on the way home?!!! or 3 days from now? will they still fix it if a bent valve is the problem? cause my car makes no noise at all, idling or driving, cold or warm.
While Blue 04's are cool, I'd have to say that the few solar yellow 04's are the coolest. And they are very limited. 2004+solar yellow+limited=the coolest!

I agree! I wet my pants when I saw a yellow with a sunroof. Thats what I would pick, if I had teh option...

Don't worry about it. If something should happen they will see the cause and know.

its not a recall, its a "rapid response transmittal". only dealerships who sold cars or have cars on the lot that are effected are notified. no customers are supposed to know theoretically.

Hemi... did it give you build dates, etc? We have several 2005s, but none of our vehicles are involved with that RRT. This is what I got:
