Default cooling system help

my 05 has 28k and change. i want to change the coolant. i have some super long life coolant some dealers use. would my car benefit from it or hurt it? thanks

coolant is coolant, doesn't matter if its long life coolant or not. thats just a selling point. Just as long as you put the correct water/coolant ratio is the best thing.

take this advice and you might as well buy a new water pump, cause you're gonna need one soon enough

you say that because water will eventually rust the water pump and thermostat right? if i add the super long life alone it should be fine? besides the sll, what is the best coolant for our cars?

yes, water is there to cool off the engine and coolant is there to prevent corrosion and freezing. Go to the dealer and get a gallon of what ever our cars take and mix it 50/50.
