Hi all, I hope someone can help me with my problem.
I recently went to get my inspection/emissions done on my 05 SRT4, but I failed the emissions. It came up with the trouble code for a Skim Key (I don't know the code number, didn't write it down... it's the one that thinks that the key is still in the ignition). I then figured it was because of my Apexi Turbo Timer so I turned it off, drove the weekend and went back. It still came up with the same code, so I went and disconnected it all together.
When I went back a third time about a week later, I'm still getting the same error come up. I have the Stage 2 kit with toys in my car, but I'm not sure if it's a problem with the stg2 computer. Anyone else ever have this problem? Should I go dig up my old ECU and put it back in, or will that not likely solve my dilemma? Thanks for any and all advice!

if it was then you have dealer go into your car with drbiii:
vtss
skim
misc.
pcm replaced
you will need the skim number
then it will transfer vin
now it should transfer seceret code
then check pcm the code should go stored
now passes IM
If you don't have a code scrubber and you have S2 with Toys, you will consistently fail. Mopar programmed the PCM's with an automatic transmission so they will always throw auto transmission codes (that's a basic explanation).
Awesome, thanks so much for that info. I saw a link for one in another post, I'll check it out. Now I can go teach the dealer something about their own stuff.
p0063 wont cause you to fail emissions testing. you will fail because of the auto trans codes caused by stage 2. the code scrubber will take care of the trans codes. As far as the p0063 the dealer can take care of that by updating the pcm to the skim module in the car.they can do that with a drb3(their scan tool)
