mine is still acting up..jeeez this is gay..its actually causing me to knock now...i foot is no where near the clutch and all wiring is sodered correctly..guess its gonna have to come out then
ive had mine on the past 2 days full time and i noticed it cut out on me once at part throttle boost for no reason just a quick stutter.
could there be extra noise in the wiring somewhere from a mod? sharing grounds?
also would having a very stiff ride and hitting a bump under load be enough to shake the clutch pedal enough to get it to cut? that would explain that one time earlier ^^^
Mines been doing fine as long as I keep the box turned off, I did start getting a couple counts of knock at the same time as this started happening. Not sure if it's a coincidence or not. Today I finally decided to check out the clutch wiring and turns out I found one wire that was lightly skinned, and then one wire that was cut in two. I'm not 100% sure what wires they were, but considering the wot box is the only thing giving me trouble, I'd say that's where they went. I'll find out tomorrow if it works again or not. If so, I'm going to the track sunday for the first time in forever.

It checks the RPM when the clutch is pushed down, not when the gas is pushed down.
So, it goes like this:
-in gear
- clutch in : is the RPM below the lockout (1500 default)?
- if yes, 2step is allowed
- if no, 2-step is not allowed
- now, until the clutch is lifted and pushed down again, the 2-step remains enabled or disabled depending on the last result
- next, if you floor the gas, the 2-step will be enabled at WOT.
So, typically you have to go to neutral and release the clutch before you can unlock the lockout. If you just roll to a stop with the clutch down, put it in first and then mash the gas, it won't be enabled.
The reasoning is that you can stage and leave the 2-step enabled.
but, it can be hard to get it engaged. So, my new advice is to just turn it off and only enable it if you are having a problem with it engaging while moving."

See mine doesn't really show it when it cuts out, but of course I've only went wot long enough for it to cut out once since finding out that its the box. I forgot to turn it off one day. I'm seeing a little knock without it cutting out. Like I said, it may just be a coincidence. I've always seemed to get more knock when it's cold outside than when its hot, so now that winter is coming, maybe that's the cause. I'll just hafta play with the boost and see, or try turning the meth pump up.

I'd be willing to bet that 99% of the issues in this thread are to blame on the installer/car more so than the wot box itself. I rode with my dad to work this morning so I haven't driven mine yet to see if fixing the cut wire took care of the issue or not, but it should have. I'm sure I'll drive it later this evening. Forza3 has my attention right now haha.

ya wiring might be an issue, but the way my luck is,its not always the labor that doesnt work out in my case
I had my car out today. it seemed to be running better and I noticed my AFR's are up to about 10.4:1 now instead of near dead 10.0:1 also breaking up was less with the box turned on. I think my issue is too much fuel.
