Default Boost Guage problem Solved!

My Boost Gauge stopped working! It got stuck and stayed at 0. It wouldnt boost or go into vaccum. This happenend after I raced my friend comin home from work. My friend wanted to see if he does agianst me when he go his new stg1. We went from 30 roll in 2nd gear, my car bogged and backfired and then took off. I notice that when I went in 3rd that my boost gauge was at zero , os i imediatly let off? Then My check engine light came up for my TPS(P0123) minute later. Then my car's idle got all fucked up. I would down shift and left off the gas and my car would stick to 3k rpms and then slowly drop rpm.

I went to school the next morning, at lunch I went online at the library searched the forums. I thought my gauge was shit? I knew for damn sure that one of my vacuum lines came off, but wasnt sure what one? I saw that it could have been number of things. In my Auto mechanics class, I took apart my dash and check the vacuum line that goes to the boost gauge. That was cool. I took of my AEM Upper Intake pipe and searched my vacuum lines. I found nothing? I go scared because I didnt want to take it to the dealer because Vacaville Dodge are kinda Nazi's. I check my brake booster lines because i heard of them comin off. I find a vaccum line completly blown off and away from its nipple. I feel the other one and its about to come off. So I put them back on and turn on my car. My Boost gauge goes straight to -19 vacuum, then I hit the gas to make the car see 1-2 of boost. Now my car 's Boost gauge works again.

SO all in all if your gauge fucks up check you brake booster lines!

haahhahaha!!! I have blown that one off so many times it isnt even funny. Its a bitch to blow the lines because it takes you forever to find which one it is and you get scared because you hope your car hasnt fucked up. Yeah zip tie it and hope it dosent do it again.
