Default a bit confused:(

Well i recently got done reinstalling my engine after haveing a valve job done due to a blown turbo, and i can get it to fire up, i got gas and spark, but no fire, i checked my plugs there all gapped to around 35 and all my grounds are good, it sounded like it wanted to try to start once, but now it wont, it just turns over and over. Any ideas, Also does anyone know what would cause a battery to constantly being drained? or the plastic cap to melt due to it getting hot? i think its getting shorted to ground but i cant find it anywhere. Any help would be appreciated thank you.

/\ you have a short plain and simple especially if you are melting your battery

Check all your wires, when you set the engine in you might have pinched something cutting the insulation and shorting out

GL,
Slyder
