Default 3500-4000 rpm idle. Car bogged and died. MIL

So I started my car with the remote starter tonight and it's cold here in the peg. -26 degrees celsius. It started fine when I got in it, and when i drove for maybe 30 seconds (during which I floored it a couple times) the rpm's rose to 4000. It stayed there for less than a minute then went down to approx. 1000 rpms. When I tried to get going again it only went to 1500 rpms and started to bog (back and forth). The check engine light came on and I puilled over. I popped the hood and looked for anything weird, and I noticed that the turbo coolant line was sliced, but then I wondered if that would even cause the bog, and the MIL. The idle problem has happened before, and I just shut it off, beat the crap out of the gas pedal, and then started it again, and it was ok: no codes. I'll post again tomorrow when I take it in after work, and get it scanned. Any insight would be great.

Kevin.
