04 SRT4's Weird Engine Ticking.

So heres the situation,

We were driving and all of the sudden we heard a ticking noise coming from the engine. We pulled over and even at idle you still hear the noise. It sounds like its coming from right under the Injectors like in the middle of the engine.

We were less than a mile from his house so we drove it there, and parked the car until we can figure out what's going on. The car has the extended warranty so it will be going to Dodge, but were just trying to see if anyone has any idea of what it could be.

Car info:
2004 SRT4
- 35k Miles
- AEM CAI
- 3" SS Autochrome TBE

(Car used to have MOPAR STG 1 with CAI, 3" TBE, FMIC with H&C IC Piping, and HKS SSQV) But like I said above, now only has 3" TBE and CAI.

FYI, the car has had a CEL ever since the TBE was installed, 2 codes reading:

P 1188 - TIP (Turbo Inlet Pipe) SENSOR PERFORMANCE
P 0420 - CATALYTIC 1/1 EFFICIENCY

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

depends on the dealer but if they want they can void his warrenty for the TBE
