03 SRT-4 really down on power got beat by a stock lt1
I have taken my car many times to the dealership over the course of a couple years. after another dealer messed an oil change up, and I made three dyno pulls with no oil (and no the idiot light did not come on). I have always been suspect that that hurt the motor. Even though the dealer has said every time that there is nothing wrong and that they notice no power loss. I was starting to believe that this was all in my head until late this summer. When I was beat by a m3 with 220 horse to the wheels. and by an lt1 camaro. Both cars that I should be able to beat.
I have noticed that after one pass she only spikes 10 psi and then falls to anywhere from 5-2 psi. Also in the past the car would run at normal temps. when really getting on it. Now as the turbo kicks in the temp shoots up. The car has no pull anymore, the motor seems tired.
I know this is vague and I wish I could give more detail but I am not hip to cars with computers. And this is the first car with a turbo that I have owned so still learning with that. ( i am the original owner, guess I am a slow learner) So since I am tired of my dealership getting free rides. Any ideas on what to do? or what it could be? I am thinking about getting it dyno tuned but do not want to spend the money if it will not fix anything.

my srt is not stock it has a mopar stage1, mopar bov, and k&n intake. and I don't think a stock lt1 should take my srt. this maybe my first rodeo with a turboed car, but not with being around racing.
it might be a stupid question but like I said before I do not know much about turbo cars and any of the computer stuff that goes with them.

sorry man, but those mods are essentially useless, the only real upside is the bigger injectors with the stage one since you have an 03.
if your really worried, i would start with a compression test, takes 10 mins, and is a good starting place.
Thanks for the help guys. I am going to check for a boost leak and do a compression test myself today...these are things that the dealership did, but who knows they could have just said that they did. If all this checks out, could it possibly be in the turbo at all? Could it be shot after only 45,000 miles?
And I threw a hell of a bitch fit with dodge and was told that since compression checked out that there was nothing I could do.
And on the lt1 thing I understand they are fast but no way I should get beat by one that is running 15 sec. in the 1/4. Before the problems I was used to keeping even with ls1's and even a mach1 or two.....i know someone will wave the B.S. flag on that, but oh well.
