Default Turbo Kit pricing released

OK guys here we go

Pricing is as follows:

AMS GT35R turbo kit with:
AMS 304 Thick wall SS header with 2 year warranty against cracking
AMS Spec GT35R Turbo w 4" ported Shroud
3" SS O2 Housing
Tial 38mm WG
SS Dump Tube
3" Stainless Steel downpipe with 3" 2 bolt flange
4" Alluminum Intake pipe with 4" k&N Intake
Oil and water lines
2.5" Lower IC pipe SS
All Couplers and hardware
All flanges are .5" thick SS to prevent any warping
Tig welding all around

$3899.95 Tentatively. we are working on some things right now to get it down a little bit but at most $200.00 cheaper. Keep in mind this kit only costs $150 less to make then the EVO VIII kit.... we are making VERY LITTLE on this piece.

GT3076R kits will be $100 cheaper
50 trim Ball bearing kits will be $200 cheaper

Silver high temp coating adds $150
Polished Compressor cover adds $100

Ordering right now is a MINIMUM of a 4 week wait. with at least 50% deposit due

we are going to build the kits to order at this time.

Not shown in the pictures: Lower IC Pipe, Oil Lines, water lines and 4 Intake pipe

Damn good looking kit you guys have there. If I didn't already have a custom kit, you would definalty have my bussiness. So for anybody that still needs to make the big turbo choice. I say go with AMS.

any dyno charts? i mean, i trust you and all, but im just curious. also, what do you recommend tuning with?

Any pictures of intake? Also would header wrap help against cracking on the manifold? i've heard mix reviews, i've heard it helps or that it makes it crack easier. Just wondering

will probably get silver high temp coating but dunno if i want to spend the money on the bling polsih hehe.

Header wrap is a big no no on manifolds pieced together like this. the extra heat actually weakens the welds.

I will try and get some more pictures of the intake pipe. later on, also Anthonys Dyno sheet from his blue car.

Well they made something like 580whp, tuning was just a SAFC (note that was with stock TB and Crane#10 cams). So as you can imagine the kit has the potential to make some insane power numbers now that the AEM EMS is out .

Eric I posted in the other thread with some questions, any chance you could get a picture of the downpipe sitting on the O2 housing flange so I can get a better idea of how I am going to mock it up?

I'm trying to track down some fuel goodies for my car as it's going to hold it back at the moment (I'm only stg 1 injectors with a 255lph pump and aeromotive regulator/return line)

My car has 55mm TB and some porting work on the head, crane 16 cams, gears, and a few other bolt ons compared to the shop car. Once we have all that figured out we'll have some more good numbers
