my prediction is 550whp since his redline is in the 8000 rpm which mean the cams are barely working at 6000 rpm.
Where do you think he is making peak power? He might get a little more peak by revving it out, but certainly not 75whp at the same psi. If the stock mani makes power that high there won't be much of a market for a SMIM. For power to keep climing well, you need the tq curve to stay pretty flat up top.
Lagzilla is right hinting about the intake manifold. Some shorter runners and more plenum volume will certainly help though.
Does anyone know if Chris is still in Chi town? Seems like they wouldn't work on it again untill Wednesday.
chris flew back this afternoon. and yes AMS will be working on it starting wednesday. nothing set in stone as of yet... i'm sure 4u2nv will chime in once he gets back home. his car made me

Wow only 18psi and that much power good job, 500whp on pump is going to be a cake walk by the looks of it.
So when are the new numbers coming? Are they working the long weekend on the car
Mike
Yeah I have been very impressed with the numbers.
Mainly bc he also didnt spend that much time getting the numbers either. He was just getting it sorted out for a full run up to 6k.
Once they figure out was is causing the little glitch around 6200rpms then I am sure it will make close to 500whp on 93oct alone with no meth.
I am sure they will also turn the boost up a little more on pump also. I am not sure. Bc on 15psi it was making 396whp. So we will see.
No new numbers will be coming till we solve the issue. We expect to have it solved and tuned in 2 weeks. Keep in mind 2 weeks is also bc they wont re-open shop until Wednesday due to holiday weekend.
It was cool as shit meeting all you guys at AMS. You guys have a very nice crew and shop there and some hella nice cars. Thanks for all the help and take care of my car for me. Make sure its nice and washed for me when I pick it up. J/K
Another thanks for the local SRT guys for showing me around. I appreciate it a lot and had a great time. I will see ya guys back it a couple of weeks.

The car is not even tune yet and is making 488whp at 6000rpm; chris has all that shit on his car and you think he doesn't have atleast some modified mani? You'll be surprise how much power you can extract from the oem design with some good work on it. The torque curve does't need to stay flat, it just need to drop at a lower rate than the RPM climb to keep picking up whp. Anyway is just a guess, but I'm willing to bet when the car is done 550whp on pump will be real.

I just have a ported intake mani with 60mm tb.
As for the tq curve falling off. Its really to hard to tell bc it gets too choppy around that area bc there is something going on which Martin is trying to solve.
I say around: (I am just assuming these)
500ish on pump
575ish on pump with meth
X00ish on c16 (We will see how much the injectors can flow)
