Not only that but also why they have to be so secretive about it. Drives me nuts!
Thats easy. The reason they have been so secretive about it is because they are having problems with the vehicle. It takes time to fix the drivetrain durability and rollover issues they were experiencing. More than likely they won't actually "fix" these problems, just detune the car until it's strong enough to last thru the warranty in bone stock form.

Maybe they are having problems, but how the hell are they going to fix them in less than two months!! (Released Sept.1) I still think the whole thing is just plain stupid. Stop with the damn secrecy and tell us the truth.

I have a couple of questions for the SRT engineers:
1. How exactly does the PCM calculate EGT's? (what are the input parameters).
2. What does the PCM use the calculated EGT's for? (is it just a byproduct calculation or does it actually influence the PCM to change other variables like boost, ignition advance timing, injector pulse widths, fuel trims).
Obviously, noone in the right mind would tune a car based solely on calculated EGT's. But those of us with OBD-II scan gauges are aware of the calculated EGT readout and would like to know more about it. Unfortunately, the PCM is a black box to everyone outside of DCX, hence the question to the SRT engineers.
Thanks!

Hi I live in toronto, canada and I have an SRT-4 and I wanna put a stage 2 kit on it. Can some one tell me how much im looking at in price and what the HP gain on it. thanks for the help!!
Coolant over flow and power steering bleeding problem's... Can you resolved those problems? It's look like many people's having this issues right now... The engine bay is on fire! Do something please... The cars look like isn't secure, the life of several owners of SRT-4 are in danger! An explosion or serious legs burns could arise...
SRTengineers and SRTEngineer give us some feedback please! Thanks...

Ditto the above. Great question. Thanks for helping us out.

The whole idea that we would want an SUV to replace our SRT4's with is just insane. Didn't they learn their lesson with the SRT8 Jeep? What is frustrating is that it is built on the same platform as the Evo. Mitsu fans get an Evo and Dodge fans get....
Their roll over problems (if they exist) stem from the fact they have a jacked up vehicle and then stuff big rims and tired into the fenders. Big diameter does equal big performance.
Is it just me or does each consecutive SRT vehicle seem to become more and more watered down. (From a pure performance car enthusiest standpoint.) SRT10 Viper, SRT4, SRT10 ram... then we got SRT vehicles with autos and stability/traction control nanny's.
At the rate things are going I won't be at the Dodge dealership drooling over the latest SRT vehicle to be released, but instead over at the Mitsu or Mazda dealer looking at the latest Evo or Speed offering.

i have a 04 srt 4 , but after putting the agp wastegate i had never been able to go over 15 lbs, my support mods are ( injen intake, agp wastegate, fmic, 3 inch catback apex, type S bov, tt , but my dyno before the fmic was only 243whp. once i reach 15 lbs you can hear the pressure puffing out some where its not the fmic piping an someone told that was normal but i have driving my bf an it doesnt sound like that , thanks a lot for any advice.
i have kind of a strange question to ask. i bought a Neon SXT because i couldn't get financed for a SRT-4 now i would like to know if i could put a SRT-4 engine in my car and i would like to know if the automatic transmission would bolt up to my engine and could that automatic transmission handle the extra power. if not what do i have to do to make it work?
