yep it works like that for a few reasons, first to prime the fuel pump and briefly energize the injectors to prime the combustion chamber for a faster start.if it doesnt shut off the fuel pump would stay running and kill the battery.the injectors and coil get the power from the same circuit but are controlled through low side drivers controlled by the pcm

The WOT box was flashed today with the 2-step upgrade software and it was correctly wired in with the new instructions.
When will the computer software/program, in the above picture, will be released?
Just curious, as right now the wot box w/2-step is set at an rpm preset of 4500rpms correct? And it cannot be changed at this time?
B.t.w. That software was a mock-up that didn't actually do anything... If I had it done, I'd release it... But, I need to actually, you know, write it.

Someday... soon!
Hmmm.... Well, I can try sending you a load with the gain turned up... It might work.... Does it slowly creep up past the target or blow right by it like nothing?
hmm..... thats odd, mine passes target rpm by like 200 rpm, then drops to it quickly and holds....... guess im a lucky one.
This is with ignition wires only.

what RPM target are you using? Does it sound any different than the videos that have been posted? Can you post a video of it?
well, I've tried the default, and 5400rpm, also it builds 10 psi of boost!!!
It does sounds similar but different than the vids, only way I could explain it is that it sounds funny, like when my freind and I heard it we laughed.
Vid huh?!?.......well I guess I could if you reeeaaaallly want it.
Would this work for the CSRT? Not really caring about the WOT feature as the CSRT as something to make WOT shifting a breeze. I'm more interested in the 2 Step Launch control

It might be helpful so I can see what it is doing. It might also help to shoot a video that shows your tach in the picture so I can see what it is doing. I may give you a tuning control so that we can try to get it to work better without the fuel cut. We may want to be able to do the 2-step without the fuel cut so that we can do it on other cars.... Also, I may have been overly dramatic with my warnings against doing the ignition only cut... But, we'll see....
