installed my wot box and 2 step today, works great but i keep getting a p0300 code, i have the 2 step set to about 3000-3200 rpms. is this normal? is there a way to get rid of it? thanks.
for some reason, the WOT BOX isn't recognizing the clutch upstop switch on my '05. The green wire from the WOT BOX is soldered properly into the correct green/black wire, but when I test it, it won't work... the clutch upstop switch is plugged in correctly, the car starts so the switch is good - i did two cars at the same time and one worked flawlessly and the other won't. what gives?

mines 05 and i have no problems at all, maybe check the green wire on the wot box to make sure its not internally broke anywhere
Well, it is still a misfire, so you have unbalanced harmonics plus more wear on the turbo... I don't know exactly, but don't do it for like minutes at a time. I wouldn't recommend that! Use it as a tool to launch the car, not as something to make noise...

The multiple misfire is unavoidable with the stock ECU and any 2-step. Luckily, it does not impact performance in any way.
Upgrading to a staged PCM should get rid of it, or you can always run your car with less than 1/4 tank of gas. Oddly, that will prevent the CEL as well...
After that, get out the volt meter and check the voltage at the connection. Perhaps the switch is broken? You'll need to check it there.
This is a 2step + WOT box. Where would I check the voltage at the connection with a volt meter? Thanks, we are still up trying to figure this out before giving up for the night!

Check it at the splice you made at the green / black wire. With the key on, but car not running you should show 0 volts with the clutch up, 12 v with the clutch down.

Checked the splice connection with a multimeter and Im showing no change with the clutch in or out..BUT the car will start!! Why would the car start if the switch wasnt working - if you get this, Phrozen, try and call me - Gabe 702.308.1922! Im still up..
I thought it was just bright green, but I was crammed in there with a flashlight between my neck and shoulder, and could hardly move my arms. my bad man, guess im not much help lol.
