Default P0340 CEL After WOT Box Install

Just wondering if anybody else has had this happen. Started about a week after the install. It's the WOT box with just the 2step. Works great just every so often it will throw the P0340 (Camshaft Position Circuit) CEL. Car will run fine but 2step will not work until PCM is reset. Rechecked all the connections and everything looks good. I haven't upgraded the software yet so I'm thinking that may be the issue. Any help would be great. Other then that the thing kicks ass

Sounds like an intermittent connection on the camshaft connection or the connector isn't fully seated.

Check the splice there and see if it is getting shorted out somehow. Try cleaning the connector and make sure it is fully connected and that none of the other wires in that connector got damaged during the installation.

Lastly, check the WOT Box ground connection. Strange things can happen when there is a bad ground.

Any more problems, shoot us an email at support@n2mb.com

Thanks for the advice. I'll check over all those things and see what happens
