Oops...I stand corrected. It does make sense though.. as long as the switch is still there....the WOT box can use it as a reference....
It needs to still be there AND still be connected to the PCM. The PCM provides the pull-up circuit. If for some reason that isn't possible, then we can instruct you how to wire a resistor on the clutch switch, or we can install an extra resistor for you in your WOT Box. There is a provision for it, but it is not populated.
However, I have heard of customers using the WOT Box with the AEM EMS, so I don't think you have anything to worry about.
Hey, this thing IS pretty awesome. I finally found some time to install a WOT Box on my car and go drive it. It is pretty damn sweet. I did some nice 2-3 and 3-4 WOT shifts. They went like butter and I've never WOT shifted before...
Now, I just need to work on shifting faster. I'm still at 350 ms...

LOL, yeah come on man you can shift faster than that. LOL I am down to about 175 ms.
I still can't believe you guys are shifting in 25 ms.... That's faster than an eye blink. Your passengers would blink and miss your shift!
We'll have to get that data logging going after I finish the Toybox 2.0 to see who's really shifting fast and who's just got their WOT Box setup wrong...

I have heard that the WOT box is the electronic equivilant of a huge cack.
Well it may still be engaging before I complete a shift, but I dont want any boost to fall out
Well, can you increase the time without a noticeable dip in boost? A slight dip in boost might be healthier for your transmission and clutch. Give it a little time for the RPMs to match up and the clutch to fully engage before hitting it again with power...
