BTW...I hope I get this by Saturday...it's my only free day

Take a look at our installation diagram:
http://npcomplete.pbwiki.com/WOT-Box...n-Instructions

You want the TCS box to get it's power from the RED side of the 16 AWG pair. The black side is going to get cut off during WOT shifts, which would be bad for the TCS controller.

Sorry I am already in bed getting ready to go to sleep for a nice 5am wake up for Squadron PT. OH BOY!!!!!!!!

so anyway, what wire does the TCS run off of? I will have to take a look tomorrow to refresh my memory but I just wanted to know in advance if it was already setup on the black wire so that I would have to switch it.

The TCS does its work on the low sides of the coil, pins 1 and 3. However, it powers itself from the high side of the coil, pin 2. We don't touch the low side of the coil, but we do cut off the high side. We don't want to kill power to the TCS, so make sure the TCS power tap is done before (farther from the coil) the WOT Box splice.

I need to draw this up for future reference.

could you guys possibly provide a detailed pic or explanation of exactly what wire to use for the tps? i know that when you do the tps rewire you end up with 2 solid orange wires & 1 blue wire .... according to the install instructions we need to tap into the orange/dark blue wire but i dont know which one that is w/o seeing a pic

Nate do you have yours yet. We should install them together, that way it only takes us 10 hours

I highlighted the signal wire on the connector pinout diagram:
http://npcomplete.pbwiki.com/f/srt-t...sor-pinout.GIF

It's the middle wire in the connector.

Is that the same wire that we run the Tach adapter to for the SAFC's?

I don't know. It should be hard to get wrong, since it's a 3 pin connector and we want the middle wire. no matter how you look it, you'll get it right... :-)

Also, as the instructions state, you guys can probably leave out the MAP sensor wire for now. It's not implemented in the firmware anyway, and I suspect most people won't need it.

However, don't cut off the wire or otherwise damage it. You may want to use it later, once I implement it in software....

Got ya.

Quick question, would it be feasible to actually tap the red wire in the WOT harness for power to the TCS box? I want to hack the stock harness as little as possible...

Also, what's this "optional" connection for the MAP sensor do for us?
