If so thats awesome, I would love to try out the boost box, before I actually purchase it.

This is also correct.

so since you are also adding the ability to have different maps, you could have a "street" map, were you 2step 5lbs, 1st gear 7psi, 2 13psi, 3-5 20psi, and a "track" tune were you 2 step 12ps, 1 14ps, 2-4th 20psi? this would be sweet.

Yes. It could do even more, since each map will have multiple RPM setpoints within each gear.

Boost by gear is what got my attention. Any fwd that's making any kind of power needs it.

I'm seriously considering this. Right now I'm running turbo --> MBC --> WGA. With this I would reroute the vac lines turbo --> Boost solenoid --> WGA and use the boost box to controll all boost settings??? Is that right. I have my WGA set to 15 psi right now so I would use that as my lowest and go from there?

That is correct. If you want lower boost in first gear, you'll have to adjust your WGA down. Mine is at 8 psi now as it came stock from Mopar with the S3 kit and it is just a little too much. I'll probably dial it down to about 6 psi and then work from there. Then the boost box will be able to control boost all the way from 6 psi to high levels that I probably don't want to go.....

About 2000 of them. But they are called WOT Boxes.

Actually, I'll go bug Jay and find out what's up.

You will get an email from Paypal with the tracking number when it ships.

so the new style WOT box and the Boost Box have common wiring? developing a splitter harness to run both boxes on a previously installed harness would be a good idea if so. similar to running dual scan gauges or something.

this box is going to revolutionize launching our cars. not just highway runs. hondas finally have quality boost by gear thru their engine management, and now we got it from a few wires!

edit: i might have to change my sig, ha.

Unfortunately, they only share 2 wires, TPS and ground, so a splitter doesn't make much sense.

yep however its just a formality, we know it will work.the only thing is there may be a variation in tuning the P&I controls but thats on our end and like we do with all of our products any updates or changes we make to improve operation we post up for download for free

This sounds great!! One thing though, if I am using a 12lb spring (external gate) am I correct in assuming that 12psi is the lowest boost I will be able to start with? Thats for sure not a deal breaker if its true because 12 psi will still hook much better than 28-30psi.

Yes, the minimum pressure you will be able to set is your spring pressure. That is the same on all boost controllers. If you change out to a lighter spring, you should be able to make less boost at minimum duty cycle.
