well, finally got it hooked up(at 2am lol, but i didnt start working on it until like 1245) and it is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im still trying to dial it in, and balance the 2 step and the boost settings. I can get 2nd to hook pretty good now, feels good to floor it and be pressed into your seat instead of hearing tire spin. Im still working on first gear cause if I set my 2 step at 2600, I bog down at launch but get necksnapping wheelhop at about 20mph or so, and if i set my 2 step at 2800 or up, I get mad wheelhop at launch...but luckily its super easy to tune/setup(and i have vista, and had no problems installing/using n2bm software so no bitching about how you cant get the software to work with vista(32bit anyway)) but right now im just focusing on trying to find the right combo of boost/2step right now i have it at:
2 step at 3k
1st-3psi
2nd-14psi
3rd-5th-18psi
pid limits at 10% cause at 20 i kept overboosting in 3rd-5th
phrozen(and others) any suggestions? Ive got 235/40/17 tires, hotchkis springs and motor mount inserts(as far as suspen. and traction mods), what settings do you think i could change to help with the wheelhop? For those wondering, i had wheelhop before, but it was worse, the boost box did not make me have more wheelhop.
For those waiting for reviews before buying the boost box, here it is. Go buy it. Simple as that, easy to set up, tune, whatever and it will give you much more consistent launches, 0-60's, 1/4mile cause you wont spin through the first 2 gears(or first 3 if your cool and have a lot of hp lol).
I had no ptb at all, and my gas mileage will probly go up because i had to tighten down my fm wga so much while on pcm boost to get 18psi, that it was affecting my round' town driving cause it was always in a low vaccum. But now, im at literally zero preload(on the wga), so i normally have a decent amount of vaccum when driving normally, giving improved mileage overall.
Great product guys, good job!

thank you for puting up the review!! as far as mounts you might want to ditch the inserts and get a good set of solid mounts like agp..that should cure it
thanks again for the review!

So, you just push a button and switch maps or do you have to hook up the computer? The reason I'm asking is because I like having an electronic boost controller because I can set up low and high boost and switch between the two by hitting a button.
Yes, you just hold the button and it blinks once or twice to indicate which map. We might even do more maps if people want that.
it will work.. its just a matter of how we go about tuning it. worst case scenario is you can build a duty cycle table manually.once the duty cycle table is set its just a matter of telling it what boost you want in each gear
day 1 with BB on ext. gated dbb 50trim. Getting somewhere... but still alot more tweaking to be done. I'll post more when i'm not on my iphone, but i'd like to take this chance to apologize to jay for calling him 100000000000 times today. And a shout out to the cops that closed my test road after the first 20 pulls making me drive 20 miles out of the way to find another "closed course".
N2MB FTW!!! Taking over the world one blue box at a time.
