They aren't connected?

Let me talk to Jay about that. I assumed he would put the PCM pins on the right wires for you....

Nope, this is how I got it:

Its kind of confusing because the directions say nothing about purple wires, although common sense would lead me to believe that I have to solder the purple wires to the toy box wires. But let me know, because I don't want to screw this up.

It looks like Jay got lazy on yours... :-)

Anyway, you are right. The purple wires need to be connected to the BROWN, BLUE and GREEN wires of the toybox. Those wires need PCM pins so they can be plugged into the PCM connectors. The other 3 wires get spliced into wires at the PCM.

Let me know if you have more questions.

p.s. You can also cut those purple wires down if it makes it easier to install. You only need them for the PCM pins.

Cool, thanks Phrozen. Hopefully it will be straight forward from this point on.
Does it matter that the purple wires are a lot thicker than the toybox wires?

No, it doesn't matter. None of the wires carry any significant current.

Installed mine. I should say John (ptperformance) installed it last weekend. Have not tried HOM but I have been playing with dab all week.

I have lots of boost.

I have little boost

I have lots of boost

I have little boost

I have lots of boost

I have little boost

I still have little boost, forgot to hit the switches.

I have lots of boost.

I will give HOM a try in the week or so.

Any chance of starting a thread here in your section on where people are mounting them? I will post a pic sometime tonight but it would be nice to not have to sort thru all the other post to find pics.

haha no i didnt get lazy lol...
guys, the reason i didnt solder the pcm pins into the harness is because it is much easier to install the pins into the pcm connector when you dont have the rest of the harness tugging back at you.imo this makes the installation a heck of alot easier
