Do you have Stage 3 without toys?
Do you have a Stage 2 w/ toys PCM and no toys harness or bezel?
Do you have a Stage 3 w/ toys PCM and no toys harness or bezel?
We haven't tested that yet. We are very confident it will work because:
a. The toybox worked on my S3 w/ toys car
b. We have evidence that the S3 w/o toys PCM == S3 w/ toys PCM
By the transitive property, the toybox will work on the S3 w/o toys PCM.
I've also heard of several people adding the Mopar toys to their S3 w/o toys cars.
Anyway, there is a plan to test on a s3 w/o toys car, but right now the emphasis is on getting them built. We'll also get pictures of the installation for the instructions.
not to put a downer on you guys, but why not test it with one of the units built, because if it doesnt work, you wont be having any orders.

i have s3 w/toys and if i were to do it agian i would prolly just want the HOM because the boost control only really works under wide open throttle, normal driving it seems the same.
We will consider doing just HOM, but judging by the poll results, most people want DAB and HOM. It may not be a feature you use, but it is nice to know it is there. I basically alternate mine between 2 and 3, depending on my mood. I can't seem to get grip in 2 or 3, so maybe it isn't doing much for me.... But, perhaps with wider/better tires 2 would be able to grip where 3 might blow the tires away.
i know 2 is just about as useless for me as 3 almost. i have some crappy kuhmos though.
it will slip and at about 5800 rpms all a sudden ill start to hook then as soon as it hooks i shift to third. if i dont do it right third will bog a bit.
anywho im gonna runs some slicks in the spring and see what that is like.
I have a few questions. Let's say you shut the car off when you have a DAB setting on, like DAB setting 2 for example. When I go to turn the car on again, is it still going to be in setting 2, or do I have to re-toggle the switch on and off again? My other question is, will this be hard to install? Is soldering neccessary?
I have also read several threads about stage 2 w/toys pcms not running as well when the toys aren't installed. Will this "toy box" trick the pcm into thinking that the actual mopar toys bezel is installed, even though there is no IC sprayer?
