does a previously installed code scrubber impact install in anyway? specifically the purple and yellow to yellow wire connection.
Nope. I have a code scrubber on my car. Actually, I have all 4 products on my car. Code scrubber, WOT Box, Boost Box, and Toybox 2.0.
You can attach the yellow wire before or after the scrubber. You can use the same splice.
I would recommend putting it at the splice after the scrubber, i.e. more towards the car harness, rather than towards the OBD port. That way the Boost Box will still function if you unplug the scrubber for some reason.
It doesn't matter. They are both the same. Pick one and connect it to ground. Connect the other one to the Boost Box black wire of the RED / BLACK pair.
I studied this diagram for about 20 minutes before installation. After running, sodering/connecting what I thought was the power/ground did I finally realize It was wrong. The pic says 16 gauge for both power and solenoid. 18 gauge black wire for ground. If memory serves correct, 16 gauge is a bigger wire than 18 gauge? So the ground wire is actually the 16 gauge and the solenoid is the 18 gauge. The fact that the two black and red wires were paired also helped me make this mistake. If the black wire has to be split in order to run to engine bay then why pair them? 2 hrs down drain so I am just frustrated. I realize the diagram is correct but its the gauge of the wires that are wrong. Unless it's just the wire package I got?

I've modded/demodded this car twice in an attempt to sell her but just couldn't do it. 3X a charm???
I just had to get a little more creative. Since I had already ran the larger blk wire to the engine bay, I just spliced the two wires backwards of the connector. That should do it. I forgot to get the six pack and is probably the root of my problems. side note, is there no fancy LED light to let you know its on? And how the hell do you unclip the TPS connector? Mine was covered in enough oil to satisfy the USA till 2011 and once I cleaned it up could not figure out how to unclip without breaking.. I pushed and pulled every little tab I could see. Thanks
