ignore the letters.
just wire the switch and LED to the correct pins and you'll be golden.
if you look carefully you'll notice that the male plug has a 1 near the #1 pin... especially on the solder version.

they also have a removable pin crimp version for 20cents more.
here's a shot of the solder side... but from a 25 pin version (why they don't have a shot of the 9 pin version from this angle I don't know. but you get the idea.)
