Default Firewall grommet?

I may just be retarded, but I can't seem to find an "available firewall grommet" in the passenger compartment. Everything seems to be absolutely covered in plastic and I don't want to start hacking shit up just to find this. Can someone give me a hint as to where I can find one under there? Thanks!

look under the dash above the clutch pedal, or under the hood under the master cylinder near the brake booster. if you can find it under the hood stick a straight piece of coat hanger through it and then go look under the dash for it.

Sweet, thanks a lot! I really didn't want to stop this install just because of this.
