So are you saying that if you don't find it to be economically feasible that you are going to refund the $270 to each of your would be customers?

We WILL do this because I know lots of people WILL need it.

The only question is when and how.

I have updated the first page to include some new payment options. You are now able to pay using a credit card without a paypal account.

Good question. Sorry, not yet. I can't seem to find a 2005 S2 or S3 car in NJ.

phrozen you can check your pm's.

I ran an OBD ll test today on my 05 stage 3 w/toys.
I got a P0888 code only. Tried to erase it. It kept comming back.
P0888- Power relay sence circuit
I used an Actron CP9135, that I borrowed from Autozone.

thats the trans relay code that set.its the first of a bunch of trans codes that will set.this is why everyone will need the module with toys.the reason why thats the only one it set is it will stop testing at that point and fail.if you were to simulate a relay (and its not as easy as you think) you will set about or 7 more codes.

hey guys like we stated before,if you are stuck because you cannot pass obd get in touch with us via pm and we will work something out with you so youre car is not grounded while we try and get first orders out.

we are very grateful for everyones patience to this point.believe us when we say noone wants these out in the street more than us.this was not as simple as we thought it would be and we have thousands invested into the project thus far.

srtworkcar, thank you very much for verifying that the 05's do set the codes as well

Bump for an update.

I've got a new idea that I'm working on in the lab, so that has pushed our ship date back by a significant amount. My best estimate is about February 1st.

I appologize for the delay, but if this idea pans out I think everyone will be happy with the results.

If anyone has a problem with this, please contact me personally. Also, if you need something sooner, contact me and we will get a prototype out to you.

An interesting tidbit... It looks like all the S3s will need this, regardless of toys or no toys. It seems they have the same PCM.

Would someone with S3 w/o toys volunteer to go code scan their car?

Or just go out and look and see if you have a block-off connector. That is a good sign that you need this.

The manual transmission PCMs don't have any pins in the C4 connector on the PCM, so they don't need a block-off connector.

The auto trans PCMs have pins in the C4 connector. Hence the block-off to protect the PCM pins.

Anyway, if this is true... You guys need this too.

But, there is good news. That means you can add toys to your non-toys PCM. We may offer a no toys to toys upgrade kit in the future. Just something simple to get you DAB and HOM. :-)
