If you want to cut the notches and holes in the plastic yourself....
The box manufacturer machine tooled 500 plastic boxes for us, all of which are blue. We do have some black plain boxes left, but they would have to be hand cut, and I'm sure Jay is very tired of doing that!
I figured out the problem last night. It was a pretty simple bug that I didn't catch because I didn't test the new code on a car, only on the bench tester.
The bug is in the VIN programming.
If you have a new blue code scrubber and it doesn't flash code 4, then you have nothing to worry about. You will never have the problem, your VIN burning succeeded. If you do get the error code 4, contact me and I will email you a return shipping label. I will load the fixed code on your code scrubber and send it right back out to you.
Also, all new orders going forward will have the fix.
Sorry for the inconvenience. Now that I have my car working again I'll be able to test all code releases on the car before I ship them out, so this shouldn't happen again.

the most convenient place would be to mount it somewhere under the dash near the data link connector.it doesnt need to be seen it will still do its job
