FYI I just installed mine and now no codes. Also the three auto tranny codes WILL NOT show up on an Aeroforce Scan Gauge when you select to pull the DTCs. You need to go to Autozone to see the codes with their OBDII reader, unless you have one of those already. Feedback coming Phrozen.

Just installed it.. Was wondering, is the unit's LED still supposed to be on even when the car is turned fully off (no key).

If I turn off the code scrubber (pressing the button), will a code scanner be able to read codes from the car (as in, the tranny codes are unmasked)?

nevertheless, no more P0888 code.

The LED stays on all the time. The power source is not switched.

If you turn off the code scrubber, the auto transmission codes will come back. When you turn it on again, they will go away again.

All engine related codes will always come through, no matter what state the unit is in.

I recently received my unit (huhhuh..he said... unit) and installed it today. problem being, the LED is blinking in sets of 4 for me. Not sure exactly what error 4 would mean with this. Other than that you did amazing job on the product and were very quick to ship! thanks in advance for your help with my problem.

Did you install it on another car previously? Error code 4 means that the programmed VIN number doesn't match the VIN number coming back from the car...

Not yet. I've been working on my car all day. but, now that it is working, I'll try out a code scrubber on it... I'll let you know tomorrow.
