Great. Have you tested it with a scan tool?

Yes I did, all codes are gone, now that I have deleted them. I would think they'll come back if I turn it off, right! I can always re-erase them if I turn it off, so all id good!
Thanks much
Like I said, now for the toybox!

That's mostly correct. The auto trans codes will come back if you turn off the code scrubber, but then they will go away again if you turn it back on. You don't need to clear the codes to make them go away. Just turn the unit on. :-)

I should update the FAQ. Something to do tomorrow....

OK. I something aint right. HELP!
Wired it in like the directions said. Pictures are wonderful by the way as there are two black/ tan wires. I chose the one you chose in your picture.
Anyway. when I put the fuse back in the led blinkes contunuusly in 3's Put my key in the ignition and turn the car to run. still blinks in 3's
Shut off car remove key. Unplug fuse and check my soldering.
Put fuse back in and the LED blinks rapidly. Isert key and turn it to run. LED blinks in 3's
What did I do?
Hepl!!!

Oh. It blinks in 3's when the car is off too.

If I hold the little button in it goes back to blinking rapidly till I turn the key to run then it blinks in 3's again.
Wired as follows;
black wire spliced to Z12 20BK/TN Ground
red wire spliced to A14 18RD/WT battery
green wire to (cut car side) D25 20VT/YL PCI BUS
blue wire to (cut ODB connector side) D25 20VT/YL PCI BUS
Hope this is enough info.
Thanks in advance
John

That is error number 3. Error number 3 is that your car isn't an SRT-4!

PM me your VIN number or at least the first 8 digits of it and I'll see if it matches what I'm expecting....

Very strange....

Well, folks. I figured out Stealth_RT's problem. Unfortunately, it may affect others here.

The problem is that I didn't have a good enough VIN decoding table in front of me when I wrote the code. To verify that the car the code scrubber is installed on an SRT-4, I make sure the first 8 digits of the VIN are:
1B3ES66S
I did not expect that to ever be different. I was wrong. SRT-4s that have side airbags will have the letter 'A' in the 4th position:
1B3AS66S
I appologize for the mistake.

This problem will only affect those of you with side airbags.

If you have side air bags, you will need to send back your unit to us for re-programming. The rest of you are fine.

Since it was my mistake, we will pay for shipping both ways. If you need a unit ASAP and you are affected by this recall, we can cross-ship you a new unit if you leave us a fully-refundable deposit.

Also note: You do not need to send the harness to us. Just the code scrubber unit itself.

Please PM me if you have side airbags.

Again, I apologize for this problem. We will fix it ASAP and take care of everyone who is affected.

Additional note: What matters is your VIN number, not if you currently have or do not have the side airbag seats. If your VIN number does not start with 1B3ES66S, you need to send your code scrubber back to us.
