Ok, Phrozen a DAU ( dumb ass user) question here. I know it was on here before, but what is the LED for ? Does it show a OK status or a issue status when lit ? The reason why I ask is, I would like to add a LED to be placed next to Toys LED's so I know from the cabin that everything is working. That way I don't need to keep looking under the dash if there is a problem. :-) Can the case be opened to modify ( add ) an external LED wire?
Hmm... Well, the LED shows if the unit is enabled or not. It will also flash 2 times when you hold down the button to clear codes (on the premium edition). Aside from that, it will flash out error codes if there is a problem with the installation or if you try and use the unit on a non-SRT4 car or a different car (vin number) than it was initially used on....
Basically, once you have it installed, you should never need to see the status of the LED, unless you turn the unit on or off.
Also, it defaults to ON when the unit boots. That happens when you pull the battery.
So, the LED is mainly for debugging. I think most people will never need to look at it once it is initially setup and running.
Jay should be shipping everyone's code scrubbers this week!
On that note, I will PM everyone to confirm that their shipping address has not changed. Some people ordered quite a while ago, so I want to make sure their units go to the right place.
PM me if you know for sure that your shipping address changed.

Thanks, I just didn't know the all the details about it.
Also from what I see, it looks like it has a quick release harness. Can one ( after being porked by the man ) removed your scrubber till next time, without any harm or issues. I know you will not be able to get readings from the ODBII until it is back in place. <--- just asking as some might ask this same thing.
Yes, you can remove it. The only problem will be that the OBD port will not function while it is removed because the circuit is open. You can make up a shorting plug to put in its place to use the OBD with the scrubber removed.
However, there isn't much reason to remove it, since you cannot use it on another car... Only the first car you connect it to.
on the premium edition, the code clearing function is alot more valuable than you think.anyone with an upgraded turbo knows that when you reset your battery you will also reset the fuel trim.by clearing the codes with the scrubber your car doesnt have to run like ass until it relearns
