15psi comes on around 37-3800. i cant figure it out. i have zero fuel control at the moment. EMS is going in soon.

i was figuring...the MBC is backed out ALL THE WAY. so there is no preload on it. can that cause such slow spool? every1 that has this said they are getting 18-19psi at 3500.

i was figuring my cams are too large, but onthedwnlow is spooling his 60-1 to full boost (65lb wheel) at 33-3400 and he has brian crower s3's (similar).

any ideas. im planning on buying a hallman MBC. just gunna buy the best there is, and x it out of the equation. do you think thats it?

i hope! kus this turbo is fuckin killin me.

once it spools tho its beastly. im only boosting to 15psi...prettymuch straight spring from wg. at 15psi, once spooled, pulls harder than my 3147 at 19psi.

Thats the problem right there (bold). Crank up the boost and you should see much quicker spool times. If not then mess with the intake cam gear only to change the spool time. With your set up you should be able to get the turbo spooling by 3200 RPM. You are at the 500 mile mark so its time to start adding boost. Try 20 psi (if you have the fuel) and get back to us if there is a difference in spool time.

seems a lil slow...especially for 4th gear in a 50trim.

4th gear i see 10psi at 3500

seriously bro, its fuckin hurtin me.

luckily i swooped an AEM ems, so i can raise my rpm's.

im going back to daves next weekend, and might install the AEM EMS and fix an oil leak.

ill check for leaks tho i dont hear any. i will also buy a damn 120$ hallman mbc just so i know it aint the mbc.

if it just ends up being this laggy kus thats the turbo characteristics, ill prolly sell it and go smaller. fuckin gay man.

Your the only one having the issues with spool time. There has to be something you are missing.

The thing he is missing is fuel control!!! He is spooling slow because he is insanely rich!!! Once you tune the fuel in Mike, your car will respond a lot better. Your Dtec is not hooked up to the car right now correct?

gunna give it a full rundown tonite. full boost leak check.
ima drill out the bleed hole on the mbc slightly larger for better response

gunna loosen then tighten all clamps. check my manifold/wg

i will turn the boost up. fix my meth. and might adjust my cams.

i prefer to wait on my cams adjusted till my ems is installed.

thanks guys.

i know this turbo's gunna be the shit. at 15psi it fuckin moves. and i know its not the turbo thats the problem..

i gotta knitpick my whole car and see..

You'll work it out, mang; just gotta wait for all the pieces to be together first. Once you have EMS installed and things tweaked/tuned, I think it'll all come together.
