Well ive found some problems with my car im gonna have to check my number 4 plug. Ive got a plug wire going bad my 8.8 magnacores did the job well but now the number 4 wire is getting red hot and it was arcing to the frame of the car i think. Im not real sure about that but theres a tear in my plug wire near the coil boot. I know how far that spark can jump so im pretty sure that it was jumping to the frame every now and then.
I do think my W/I setup is working better now that went to 2 m3 nozzles. Im really hoping that the plug wire is my problem if it is ill get that took care of quick. If any one knows what else it could be let me know my symptoms are one my car gets real hot in WOT it will backfire 2 or 3 times will going through 3rd and the same in 4th it probley does it in 5th ive just not had a chance to go wot in 5th in a long time
my plugs are gapped at 32
my coil pack is stock
im boosting between 25 and 27 spike and holding 19-21 at the redline
and my dtec is making sure that my car isnt getting fuel cut from to much boost
my afrs are a solid 10.5 on my non race tune my AFR meter goes to 9s so i know im not maxing it out
and my KR is 0
i need to check my timing to see if its jumping all crazy

By hot... do you mean hot as in overheating? Or just acting all stupid?

Reason im asking is because you could be experiencing head lift with the amount of boost your running. But thats worst case scenario.

Start with wires... if its missing it will cause some messed up things to happen as well.

the number 4 plug wire gets so hot it will almost burn ya so i think its getting some major resistance because its messed up you can see where the wire is exposed so im thinking it might just be messed up im really thinking thats my problem

Yeah, i reread your post. I dont know why i thought you said your car was running hot... Reading late at night owns me

Put some wires on 'er and I'm sure she will settle down. If not then maybe you just need to have a talk with her. You know show your car some love.

haha the only love my car is gonna get is 5 gal of 110 ive been tinkering with the midrange on my car i was only pulling 12% on midrange and 16% up top so i desided to add some tq and now im pulling 16.8% and down to 16 at the redline i havent looked at my timing yet but my car is screaming now. its most definately the plug wire while its cool it will run great but once the wire gets worked a little and it gets hot it will miss a little its just getting some bad resistance

Yeah, there are a couple of us running around with mostly PTP performance parts.

Funny thing is... i never considered them when i was first starting off on this website. It wasn't until John got the website up did I consider them. And he has been getting most of my money ever since.

Its a love hate relationship.

I honestly have no idea, but the car feels strong. I'm running 21-22lbs right now with 10.5 AFR and low 11's to redline...
