Call me tomorrow on my cell. I have seen your calls just been super busy with things. The turbo has some debris in it but nothing that would cause oil to burn. I would be willing to bet that number 1 is starting to get weak. You do have the tools to do a leak down test correct? Let me know, and call around 10 am my time, thanks.
I always bring it to a gear head who is a real good friend that does tests. He did say he had to get a new leak down test the other day because it wasnt working correctly. I will have to drive over his way and do another once I get another turbo. I guess if it is #1 going bad that would be a not so good thing.....25psi on a gt40 I suppose will do that over time. I really wanna get your motor, but just cant pay for all that at once.....will just have to see about a loan or something. Sure thing I am just getting in....4:30am here. Had lots of racing tonight since it was cruising the coast again...lots of cars. So noon my time will be around when I will call the cell which is about 10 your time.
I have something even better. T366 with a 060 AR housing. 4 bolt to hook right up to your exsisting set up. This should be good for around 750 WHP and will not start working till you have 400 WHP. I was going to go this route but decided that I couldn't wait for the 060 AR housing..... now I wish I would have.
Yea the 366 is looking like the best choice....will be giving you a call tomorrow.
Awesome! spoke to you on the phone and am excited to get the new turbo.
srt4moster - See john about the turbo you have been "eying"
PTP - Once I got off phone with you I spent all day working on a friends car here at the house so havent pulled the pan, etc as we discussed. I forgot how much of a pain it is to pull the cold and hot side pipes off. His intercooler was not secure....when i pulled off the front bumper the intercooler came with it....dang metal where it bolts too was broken!! JB-welded it up and helped some.
Well let me know and if it is something with the motor I suppose I will try and get a loan to get a full longblock with some 18's for cams.

HA well just going to wait and see what john comes up with when he gets the turbo in and we figure out pricing and all.
On another note the guy I helped put car together for his dyno tune yesterday....long story short I tired telling him to tell the tuner no more then a 11.5 a/f. Well 12.3-12.5 from 3.5krpm to 5.5krpm then 11.5af to redline......at 20psi on a DBB 50 trim made 399whp. Pulled it off the dyno and drove it around the block just cruising and it sounded like a jet....turbo was toast. It has about a quarter inch travel in the turbo.
So to my point he will most likely be getting a S362 from you john...will have him pm you if so.

What a dumb shit... Maybe with water injection and race gas you could get away with that AFR... That truely sucks.

Thanks, we will have the 060 and 070 AR housing uptions up on the site here in a few days. There will be options for both so keep a close eye on the scroll windows.
Sucks that his turbo is now gone. To many back to back pulls with not cool down time.

Let me know when you get the 60 and 70s with a price so I can send funds. srt4monster is suppose to be getting with you on buying my old one. Its basically going to be a new turbo once its rebuilt....although I dont want him to pay full price though. Just give me a call when you get a chance and we can talk about pricing or let me know a good time to give you a call.
The only thing I am worried about is maybe the 60 housing would be too small for the S362? I do want a faster spool time, but dont want to have it moving so much air and causing more heat because the exhaust side is too small. Not sure if thats really a factor at all? If not the 60 ar is great, but if so the 70 I suppose would be the best.

I pulled the oil pan off today(was a bitch) and found nothing in the pan except oil so thats good. Tomorrow I should be able to do the leak down test. I have been working on my 1921 pickup truck though as well.....spent a good chunk on her. New carb, manifold, fuel pump and need to set timing etc tomorrow. 2000lb truck with over 500whp should scoot
Also sorry for calling john.....just let me know when I am able to send money over for the s362 with 60ar housing.
