Glad I was on the latest list of SST2 group buy! This thing is going in my car next weekend. Looks very well made. Will be happy with "just" 300-325 on stage 2 staying in a safe zone....lol....perhaps a little more next year with fuel supporting mods.
you'd make way more power than 300-325 IF you are off of PCM controlled boost. S2 pcm does not like the added CFM from the new turbo.
trust me, I know bc I've tried everything. Now I am using the S3 pcm controlled boost and returnline and I frigging LOVED it.

Is it just me, or does the power curve look similar to a 50 trims now? That thing didn't make peak torque till 3800ish.
Yes and it made 375 WTQ at redline. Its not all about "peak" numbers. There was a gain of 350 WTQ from 2000 RPM to 4000 RPM, how much faster do you want the power to come on and having 375 at redline is just crazy nuts.
Now we are compairing it to a 50 trim? The 50 trim has a bigger compressor housing, bigger AR housing so it should be able to produce better numbers. This is the little tiny stage 3 turbo we are talking about here. Its making very close to 500 WHP if you use the conversion factor that others have used when converting over to dynojet numbers. Now I will more likely then not get flammed for that comment but I have heard of others converting numbers so I will for purposes of showing how "MUCH" we could be making.
Confirmed he ran 11.47@127mph but it's not official till he posts it.
That doesnt confirm anything.
Brad went 127 traps with 429whp.
Stock head, cams, intake manifold and catback. However his exhaust manifold was not.
Either way 11.4s@127 is no joke.
With a tune and exhaust manifold, the car should run 10s. Lets see how everything holds up after a few dozens track passes.
Damn, zero respect shown there.
First time out and the car runs those times no tune, no manifold work, and my bets are on a poor 60 ft time. We get "That doent confirm anything", damn Aaron.
10's are the goal and he should have the manifold in the next 2 weeks. 127 MPH and he has to lift at the first line and brake hard due to the big bump right after the trap light. Had he held it all the way through the lights maybe there would be another 2 MPH to get us closer to the 130 you are looking for??? I can hear it now "we did that with stock head and a smaller wheel" looks like its going to be tough to please you. Good thing the customer is tickled pink and there will be more that are impressed vs not since the car is running no tune and PCM controlled boost and stock manifold.

Jon, are you not reading what Im writing?
Dont try and pick a fight man. Im just telling it how it is. 127 traps does not confirm 500whp, thats what I meant by doesnt confirm a thing. Sometimes I think you automatically think Im dogging something and dont read my entire post.
Just because it has one of your parts on the car doesnt mean a thing. Im critiquing the dyno numbers vs. track times, not your turbo. Im in no way dogging anything.
Besides I know the owner personally. I am very happy for him and when he comes down for a tune, I see nothing but solid 10 second passes in his future.
I was not confirming wheel hp just that the time i posted was his run. It's the canadian nats so lots of srt's running. Sorry for the confusion . He went 11.45@128+MPH today.

I am back from the track. I did about 15 runs over the last two days. I completed in two events.
My best 60' was 1.80 but most were 1.98
My best MPH was 128.75 most were 127.75 and another 128.45
my best 1/4 was 11.445 that was with a 1.879 60'
I ran a 11.475, 11.54, 11.65, a few 11.65's
I think it could have went faster but I have been really sick with a bad cold all week and camping out in just at freezing weather really took my energy away. The only thing keeping me going was the fact that that this car really is a beast if I do say so myself. I felt a new feeling going down the track that I have not felt before....when I grabbed second the wheels would spin, when i grab 3rd the wheels would spin (time for 26" slick)...and 4th someone told me it sound like a different car....I have a guy who goes to the track every weekend and has watch me all season come over and tell me that my car was one of the most impressive things he had seen all weekend and that the progression on this car was truly amazing to him....All the guys I run with in the 11.90 index told me that at first they thought we (there are 3 SRT's that run in the class) were going to be a joke...Now they tell us straight out that they fear us as the top end speed and mile an hour we have mean we can walk around them at any time and then just play with them for the last 320 ft.
After putting down the 11.4 at 128 I had a constant stream of guys (some of these guys race 6 and 7 second cars) come over and check out the car and shoot the shit....Everyone of them told me how impressed they were and how if this was a rear wheel drive this would be a 10.4 - 10.5 car no problem.
I am still really sick but I am really sick with a smile....This coming weekend will be the Sport Compact Series so i think OshawaSRT and I will go and see if we can scare a bunch of imports!!!
Here is my before I did the SST S3 and the after.
Thanks to eveyone for there support and kind words...Arron/John you guys have earned a "time out"....I am kidding guys...I know both of you personally and like and respect both of you and I know both of you are happy for the success we are having with the car!!!!

Not picking a fight, just expecting more with the history between us. I read it I was looking more into it then I should have. Yes when he gets a tune on it with a built motor 10's should be easy. I wonder what an additional 500 RPM would look like on that dyno? I have to wait and see what the manifold ends up netting him also. Its not a bad start for Jeff and 130's should be very easy to reach, not saying that is 500 WHP just saying that is a goal for me.
Damn Jeff that is just amazing. Almost 129 and 11.44. Knock off a few in your 60ft and you should be very close to the 10's. I feel that a few psi added to your set up and the 130 MPH is there as well. Traction is owning you right now and that is a good thing (new slicks are needed if your not running 26's already). My hat is off to you since I talked to you on Thursday and I know how ill you are right now. Take care and get some sleep you will need to be rested for next weekend. I have my fingers crossed for the win there.
