Default Stage 3 SST makes 452WHP/468WTQ on Dynapac dyno!!!

Yes we have made some great numbers and spec sheet with and the results will be up in this thread.

Now I want to say that this car has more left in it but that will be for a later time. We wanted to just install the turbo so we could have base numbers for everyone at boost for boost numbers. Nothing else was changed other then the injectors due to the car running out of fuel (it still ran out of fuel so a RRFPR had to be installed). We will be getting new numbers here very soon with some port work done and possibly a tune on the car.

Dynapac dynos are known for reading 12 to 15% lower then a Dynojet but we will not make that assumption just yet. With that said I will be posting the comments made by the tester as well as the dyno sheet.

Now the car has no manifold port work and is running off stage 3 boost control, in HOM with race gas. We feel that since there was a problem with the car running on a boost leak after the RRFPR and bottle neck fix at the fuel pump there is deffinitly more in the car. Jeff has stated such as well. I had talked to him on the phone and he stated that the car feels faster now then when it was running out of fuel. The boost leak was huge so that is why they have not turned up the boost yet. If you look at his post below the dyno chart you will see that the AFR's changed a very large amount, so much that they had to swap injectors after the boost leak was fixed.

Soo with everything stated as it is.... there is potential to make 500 WHP with this set up. If you take the 12% difference on the dyno you have your 500WHP but that is not going to do it for me. I want 500 WHP on the Dynapac set up, this way its a for certain 500WHP.

If you look at the redline power numbers as well you will see that there is 435WHP and 375WTQ, those numbers are just insane. Stay tuned for more and track results will be up in the next 2 weeks pending weather.

S3 SST Compressor 50lbwheel Stock Exhaust side
735 cc injectors
AGP Race FMIC
Devils Own Progressive W/I
Maxx Fab 3" S Mc3 DP
Needswing DP McCord Open
PNP Head and Intake
Crane 16's/Cam Gears
60mm Zapp
Ultimate Pipes
MSD coil 8.5 wires DIS 4

The numbers above had one problem...running lean above 5k (13.3 -13.6)

The S3 raising rate regulator would hit 70psi but you could tell when the car hit 5k because the pressure would drop to 55 and would run lean....

What we did...

Hot fix (direct wire)
Bottle Neck Fix
Return Kit (key part for kit...thanks John)

Back to DYNO PAK

430ishHP - running super rich 10 and into 9's AF

Fuel Pressure was down as low as 36 psi

W/I turned off completely

- Swap out 735's for S3 injectors

447HP 465TQ

But the A/F never got above 12.7 for about 3 - 400 rpm mostly high 11's

Boost is where the lost HP has gone and perhaps even better...

We would spike 26psi but only hold 20psi, where as in the first runs and constantly all year at the track 26 falling to 22psi.

So it is either a boost leak or the AGP S3 needs the 18 lb spring...

But with the fuel we now have I think we can crank the boost up to 28 - 30psi range

I will say this to all of the people who told me I would be laggy by 150 - 500 rpm....Try again it comes on 500 rpm sooner and it creates a curve that is almost straight up...

I will be running in the CND Nationals this coming weekend. That will give me some 1/4 mile times and I will post those up.

We swapped back in the 735's and reduced the fuel rate to 45....We now see mid 12's

I will not be able to dyno this setup yet but I will be taking it back to the track and I will update with numbers...

I personally think there is more in the car...I think it has more than 452HP but Unfortunatley until I dyno I can not claim this, it is only speculation...

Thanks to Steve at Fasttrac...Could not have done it without you...Some late nights and some blood but I think we are on the right path!!!

Also thanks to John from PTP for all of the input and knowledge and support to get'r done!!!

sick numbers....but dynapacks read just as high as dynojets. I dont know of any dynapacks that read considerably less than dynojets.

mustangs and dyno dynamics, yeah...but not dynapacks

props on the setup.

wrong.

I know the dyno owner/operator. it does register lower than the dynojets.

He has a ported head and cams and was already the highest dyno'd stage 3 i believe at 419. You're not going to just strap on the big wheel and make his numbers. His setup was crazy and i mean crazy before. He put alot of time and cash into building his ride (probably more in tuning than most spend on a turbo kit). He should be back from the track tomorrow so you'll see what it can do.

Holy smoke....that's impressive.

Glad I was on the latest list of SST2 group buy! This thing is going in my car next weekend. Looks very well made. Will be happy with "just" 300-325 on stage 2 staying in a safe zone....lol....perhaps a little more next year with fuel supporting mods.
