Chan - Yeah its DEFANITELY ALIVE,lol.Thats for sure, thanks alot for the setup!!
John - Yeah tell me about it bro!! Lol,3rd gear spins from 60 - 80mph then it starts hooking.Ill be investing in some BFG DR's soon.Im spinning 18" Enkei Evo 5's too! Not 17" stockers.Guess ill have to invest in those DR's then just have my slicks when I go to the track...
Question : I have 24.5" x 8.5 slicks right now, mounted on 15" Kosei K1's.Im thinking im gonna need to go with some 26" slicks now, anybody want to chime in here?

~P.S. John I cant wait to see what it makes on race gas and more boost too!Its gonna be freakin' INSANE!! I LOVE IT!!
I am still short shifting first with 26's and spinning 2nd as well...24.5
s were even worse I was spinning almost half way down the track

blksrt404 and mole - Yeah I figured I would have had to get some coil overs at one time or another, damn!
One thing I noticed is it seems like I have a new problem everyday with this kit.Little things though...
Day 1 - Vacuum hose popped off turbo
Day 2 - Line came off my brake booster,NO BRAKES!! (and im doing 80mph in 3rd,lol.)
Day 3 - Looks like I have an oil leak! (crush washers gone bad, silicone the bottom oil line on the turbo.)
Day 4 - I go to throw 2nd to 3rd and BBBBOOOOFFFFFF the car goes nowhere, sounds like something popped off..I take it back to my warehouse and theres coolant on top and around my transmission. All coolant lines were connected, nothing leaking drastically because there was no fluid on the ground,no CEL,No high temp or anything.Cleaned up the antifreeze, started it back up and its not coming out anywhere...wtf?Lol.
I guess once your car hits that certain level shit starts getting serious, thats how I feel right now.The stock lines have so much power going through them that they're just popping off left and right.Just my 2 cents.Does/has anybody else had this problem with putting a big turbo on our cars?
boostjunky - Ah ha! Lol,thanks man.Not sure why I couldnt figure that out.
pphilips - Yeah man I hate those clamps,im pretty sure I know which one it is too because I took it off a few times to fix some things in the past 2 weeks. So I think when I was halling ass some coolant just slipped out and then that was it.
Ill be flushing my system tomarrow and filling it up with some Zerex G-05,then adding hose clamps and industrial zip ties everywhere I see a damn vac/coolant line.
Crane Cams, much better duration for big power over big Crowers. Proven fact. Check the fastest SRT-4's. Boost through valves, ect...big turbo no likey
Running 8500 on a stock motor is going to net you a big chunk of change towards a built motor that can handle that faster than you wanted.
Stage 3 seeing 8500 RPM's I really want to see that. Not saying it cant be done because I have been amazed before but that is a VERY high rev for such a small turbo even with a big wheel. That was about the Rev we were shooting for on our ball bearing HP61 with .82 a/r but hell push it and see what you can do, just please don't break your pocket doing it on a stock motor.
Good setup man. Just popped in the thread and saw the manifold had my port work and then was sent off to PT for the external gate (Im in love with externally gated stock or Stage 3 setups after being in a Stage 3 one and my V-Band) Keep pushing it and see what you can do.
Also yes the Tial will full dissemble. Not something I think all are comfortable with but it can be done. I have the bottom vacuum nipple facing the firewall for my boost line.

Josh - Thanks for the info man, yeah my redline's at 7k right now with the FM reflash and I usually shift at 6500RPMs anyways so I dont think ill be pushing it anywhere past 7k even with the AEM EMS.I dont think im going to need cams, traction is an issue for me right now and im not even tuned or on high boost yet, lol. But if I did get cams, they would be either Crane 16's or 18's.
Also,AMAZING work you did to this manifold man.Its great,it really is.Ill let everyone know what it puts down once I get the AEM EMS installed, dyno'd and tuned.
I wasn't aware the bottom of the Tial WGA can spin,it doesnt appear so but I will most defanitely take your word on it.
The crane's have a much better duration so on high HP cars you will see a much better efficiency through the powerband. Not saying Crower's dont make power because I use them and make power on them it's just easier on Crane's most of the time. Generally when using Crower's I use a Stage 2 (BC 262) because it's not super high duration and you get much better power curves from it.
I'd bring the rev down man. 7k on stock bottom end is doable but miss shift hard and few times and if it doesnt break then it's just going to slowly beat it self to death.
Cams always help. Making the entire powerband better, spool, top end, strong mid range, and makes the powerband less erratic.
Glad you liked the work on the manifold, appreciate compliment. I always go nuts on the stage 3's. They take more time than a stock manifold but the end result is always more pleasing to me so it seems less stressful. Thanks

Check your coolant levels and put new clamps on the coolant hose right by the cam sensor. They seem to leak at elevated boost levels on the stage 3 SST (no idea why).
