Mole - Yeah its only on 13psi right now (spring the wga came with) but once the AEM EMS goes in,boost is going up and thats when all the funs gonna start...

I will have to check on that, I thought you could. The TS units you can spin so I will look into it.

How does it run on 13 psi?

Makes 2 of us. I know that the first time I got on the wifes car at 8 psi I was like "OMG, what happens when we run 20 psi"... so I want to hear what is happening at 13 psi.

13 psi was ehh....second gear felt a little faster then stock.I would say it was a 13 second car, lol.I dont know, anyways I tried hooking up a manual boost controller today to turn the boost up a little bit,I had no luck until I came across one way to hook it up...

Big turbo Vacuum line setup question?

The Picture on the second post on that thread is how I hooked it up,now it spikes and holds 23 psi but I cant lower the boost! Lol,wtf?!?! My AFR's are mid to high 12's so im not really getting on it right now.I zeroed out the AFC but I havent touched my Fuel pressure,my fuel pressures at 35 with a vac line running to the cold side.Should I turn the fuel pressure up to get my AFR's down or what?Is my vacuum line setup wrong or whats going on?!?! I tried using the search button to find how everyone sets up the vacuum lines for the external wga with a manual boost controller but found no luck.Ill post pics tomarrow of how its setup.

So can John or anyone chime in and tell me if my boost controller's hooked up wrong, and what I need to do to either lower the boost or my AFR's.As usual, all help will be greatly appreciated!! Thanks.

AEM EMS isnt the savior to an engine...well it is, but not in all cases man. dont get over confident w/ it.

you are looking for major potential problems w/ the stock rod length, and valve float that can cause some problems.

7k is all id do on a stock head. like 72-7500 on stock block...but thats really pushing it imo. while it may be doable, its not all safe.

good setup man. have fun w/ it, and be safe. it does you no good to get a few extra hp here, a few extra revs there, just to blow it and stare at it in your garage while you wait for a rebuild.

don't you think 8500 is a little much for the turbo as well, i don't see the turbo making much power at 8500 rpm

Christian - Yeah I know man,I completely agree. As long as im in the 400WHP range with somewhere either under or above 400TQ I think ill be a happy camper, lol.Yeah im not sure how much to rev it to but ill let Nemo decide that when the time comes because I really dont see the turbo making much power after 7k with stock cams but maybe im wrong.

Squishy - Yeah man I do think 8500 is alot but if it pulls hard and my AFR's are right then why not.But yeah I dont see it making much power after 7k with stock cams,at all.But then again I dont see much info on this setup around this forum so I feel like im one of few who will be pushing it to its limits.

I promise u wont be the only one pushing this setup to its limits!!Only difference in our setups is I'll have Crane 16's or custom grind cams w/ DCR Pro series head and 6500 rev limit and you have stock head and cams with AEM EMS.Do u have meth kit,TB and every other bolt on??

KAZ109 - Yeah man I have pretty much every other bolt on,lol.Everything down to the DCR Oil Modifier.Im thinking about running a pair of cams, but well see what I make on the dyno then ill know if I want cams or not.If I did go with cams, probably some Crane 16's with some Unorthodox cam gears.

Can anybody help me with controlling the boost?Read post #20.
