More update coming very soon guys. We are working on the return line and external gate for another customer this week. Should be done end of the week with lots of testing the week after.
I had a 50trim before the SST and wasnt to impressed with the whooping 2200 rpms till redline. I do not street race or do highway runs so the 50 trim was useless for me. I do track the car a few times a year but I am going to try and learn how to auto-x this year as well so I picked up the SST. From what I have read...the sst v1 is better matched with the v3 upgrades then the v2. IYHO, is worth me upgrading the v2 or spending 1400 and a stage 3 turbo/mani, o2 and wga? Or I was pondering nitrous but have never used, installed or been in a vehicle with n2o so the concept of nirtous is very intimidating to me. Just looking for your thoughts and opinions.
Thanks in advance,
Bryan Tracy

Bryan there is a lot there to answer so here goes. If your going to track/auto x the car then stage 3 is the only way I would go. The SST is nice also but its not a nice as a stage 3 big wheel.
50 trim is a great 1/4 mile set up but not the best for auto x unless you spend the money on a speed based boost set up, those are lots of $$$. The upgrade to the S3K should be a worth while investment and it gives great on off performance so that is something you will have to work out. The only down fall of the S3K is it will only work well with an Intimidator or better manifold.
N2O is a love hate affair with most. If you get it right it will make you a happy person all the time, get it wrong and it will cost you a motor everytime. So be careful if you go this route. I like N2O set ups on the SRT4, they work very well and have held up with the right tune on stock motors.
With all that said I guess I should just ask one thing.... how much WHP are you wanting? We can move along further when we get an idea for what you are looking for.
Well i had 407whp with the 50trim but it was a dyno queen. Daily driven I hated the car and even at the track the best I could put down was a 12.13 with slicks and it was because of knock at the top end. After the 1/8th mile the car fell on its face (my fault on a bad tune). I would be happy with a 12 flat or high 11sec car. Stage 3 is probably where I will end up if everything works out the way I hope.
~edit~ I have no specific WHP # in mind, just a fun, well balance daily driven car.

Stage 3 or smaller big turbo. Something like a 2872 Garrett or the BW with an 048 AR housing. Either of those would make you smile.
How are those #'s coming??? How about some pics of the set up on a car Still saving

I will be on the dyno next week for a full tune and then the tubular intake manifold should be going on for more tuning. 12.2 this weekend at the track but that was with very poor results from the top end, blew a vacuum line off that I couldn't see until it was to late.
