I havent used it before, my friend that installed it was used to tuning the safc's though, and said this was way easier to use, and you don't have to have it out in plain view on the dash, mine is under the steering column, I just plug it in when I need to change the tune, then put the cable under my seat when I'm done with it.

That was dam quick. Please before and after runs with a video of the WB readings. That is a lot to ask but if you could that would be real cool.

I can try and do something with my phone. It can take videos. I already messed with it some, and for the first time in a while my afr was above 11:1!!! Sweet! It was very jumpy, but it worked. I think I hooked up the power wire to the wrong wire on the PCM, I'll have to check that tonight. But if possible I will try and take some vids for you guys. Who can host them for me?

I can host it if it is small. Under 7 megs.

By jumpy do you mean .2 or .3 of an afr or more than that? If it jumps around more than that it might need more time to adjust or you wideband might be a little slow.

Yes this unit is far and away a ton better than a safc. It does everything the safc does and more. It data logs all inputs that matter to your AFR, rpms, and what boost your getting. Not to mention it also has the autotune that the safc doesn't even have. You can hook this up , calabrate the sensors and set the autotune and run very close to your target desired afr. Like Kevin said you can fine tune the crap out of it over time also but you can be driving within minutes of install.

This unit is awesome and can control the fuel as well or better than anything short of a standalone. Emanage is the only other piggy back i know of that has autotune and it is much more expensive. Now the really cool part is add water/meth injection to your car and you can run much better timing without worrying about the jets clogging and blowing your car. Because you tune for a 11.8 with just fuel then turn on the injection. The autotune keeps the afr at 11.8 and adds timing while taking away fuel from the injectors. If the water injection fails the injectors just inject more and get you back to safe. Best fuel tunning modual IMO.

I can attest to this. I had my car running minutes after the install was finished. Then within 30 minutes my car, which was running 8.9:1 was up around 11.3:1. Now I just have to start fine tuning it before I turn on the autotune. Great Product. I will try and get some vids of before and after this weekend.

PTPerformance: Great Product, this was def. worth the wait!

All I can say is, you have to love crappy southern cali mexican gas. With the 91 we have down here, I can here some knocking at 11.3:1 at 16-17lbs. of boost. I'm going to have buy some octane booster and see if that helps. This thing is pretty amazing. I love being able flash the box with the car still on.

Also, John, any idea when the little orange wire for the flux capaciter will be ready to use? Can't wait to try that sucker out. Also, how can I tell if I should update the software?

Still trying to tune my afr's down. Haven't had a chance to get on a dyno. Right now just got the laptop next to me on the highway . But this box is really easy to tune. It only takes seconds. Props to John and everyone over at PTPerformance.

water/meth injection will be your friend!!!!!!

As for knowing if you have updated version..I think all you have to verify is in the fuel cells. When you have the car running and you pull up your fuel map. You should see a little blue box that moves around as yuor car is idling. That is the only way i know so far to tell if you have the updated version or not. Of coarse if you dont see blue boxes you definitly dont have it.

how would a/r tuning would be affected for the guys with the downpipes with the cutout?, when i got mine i noticed that with the cutout open it runs a bit leaner not much but its still a diference from open to closed, i was just wondering if this would through off the ftm, im planning on tunning with the cutout open. but i was just curious.

Once you have the auto tune on the AFR's will be corrected with the DP open or closed. That is the nice thing about the autotune.
