Car symtoms:
Hickups at idle, makes A/F's dip into 12 at idle when it does this
Connection Message Box when connected to FTM:
srt-4 type and Map 2
Actions Completed:
Replaced Upstream o2 Sensor, this HIGH fixed LTFT
Placed WB in correct Bung
Resetted Computer
Tested Wires on FTM
John Volts suggestion for the following wires
Red Wire = 12v
My Reading = 12.39v
Grey Wire = .79
My Reading = .73
Yellow Wire = 2.2X
My Reading = 4.10
White Wire = 2.2X
My Reading = 2.17
Purple Wire = 5.0
My Reading = 5.0
I didnt check ground, didnt know how to....
Problem is the yellow wire, you are adding a ton of fuel and causing the map to read way to high and its adding a ton of fuel. At idle your car thinks its running in boost. The yellow wire needs to read at the same or lower then the white wire. What are your FTM settings again?
What GB did you get your FTM on? I have sent you another FTM correct? If so then it has to be your settings. Call me tomorrow with car and laptop in hand so we can go over this together. I want your muilti meter there as well so we can measure the voltage on that yellow wire when we make adjustments to the FTM fuel maps.
My global was zerod out and my clamp was at 4.85! So that's why I was like why's me yellow wire reading so hi! Ill call you tommorrow!
I didn't get my FTM thru a GB. Think it was an extra one you had or something!
If you pull fuel does the voltage change on that wire? Try this before you call me. It very well could be that you are set up on the wrong map signal for the input to the FTM (2.25 bar vs the 3 bar set up) that would explain the difference in voltage. I dont know why you keep having these issues, dam it.
Car is running good.....upgraded the WGA spring you sent me and wow, car holds a lot more boost to redline.....Got to get my new boost gauge installed and I'll be able to start pulling fuel out.....with it in the 10's the car pulls strong, I can only imagine when it gets tuned and the W/I turned on...
