Have you check everything else? Plugs, wires, coil, ???. There could be more to it then just the FTM, and remember that just because you put new ones on doesnt mean that they are good. I have seen new parts come over many a parts counter and they were worse then the part we were replacing. Doesnt happen offten but every now and then it will make fixing a problem real tough. Have you installed the new o2 yet?

No I havent installed it just yet...I'll install it tommorrow and see what happens....

Ive checked all the connection both on the FTM plug and all the Soldering at the harness....Everything looks good...I have the FTM behind the center console so it doenst move around at all....Everything is fine....just those hickups.....the spark plug wires are new, I got those from you and I am going to install the NGK plugs tomorrow as well...They'll be gapped at .35 ......Car pulls good not being tuned at all....its a beast...I can only imagine when I get everything dialed it....only thing is the hickups....

I'm assuming everything will be a "T" solder except for the bottom two wires in the pic above, which are:

1. The white map sensor wire, which just goes to the map sensor, not "T" into the harness. (Correct me if I'm wrong, that's what I assume by "cut this wire").

2. Also not sure about the yellow wire on the right side. "Map signal other side of cut"? What's going on with this wire?

Also, can someone from PT performance send me the "official" instructions to email address sammylaptop@cfl.rr.com? Sorry for the noob questions, just want ot make sure this is as pain free as possible.

You are correct about the T solders and the bottom 2 wires. And about #2 above. Well you know a wire will got to two different places. When you cut the wire one end will go to the PCM and the other will go to the map sensor. The white wire goes to the end leading to the MAP sensor and the yellow wire goes to the end leading to the PCM.

Thanks, I got the FTM all wired up today. I freaked out when I decided to start the car without first connecting the FTM, but all was back to normal when it was connected.

Just now a matter of tuning.

already did.

i spike 23 and tuned to a 11.00 afr, i read that with w/i you could get away with an afr of 12.5 but that didnt work for me, egt's were killing my timing, so ill run it somewhat rich, next to come are ported manifolds (int, exh) but i should realy do suspension or wider wheels since due to my 23 spike i cant do 2nd gear rolls anymore, im finlay instaling the lbc to see if i can get my 2nd gear back and some first gear action , but i would realy like to use my 23psi in second, any words of advice.

Hey, do you guys have any screenshots of the FTM program. I have used hondata and dsmlink before and was just wondering if the ftm looked similar on the computer. Thanks
