Default Post whores, off topic, just want to talk shop? Post in here...

This is the everything goes thread. Well just about everything, try to keep on the topic of cars and no nudes!!!! I will be in here ever Tues, Thrus and most Saturdays to post with you guys and answer your questions. I will be setting up times and making posts on when I will be in here posting and it will be a like a chat room for those wanting my personal time or questions answered. This should help with the phone traffic and it will be nice to just sit down and answer some questions for you.

Let me know what you guys think of this, thanks.

questions..
1) why did you name your company ptperformance? it made me think you were a specialist in pt cruisers for my first year here, untill i realized it was personal transport performance....
2)has anyone ever said that before or am i the only one to get that confused, just curious.
3) how did you get your start, what parts came first?

these are all legit questions and are on topic...

Lots of people get that, I only ask them "what does P. T. stand for?", then you see the little lite go on... "ohhh" they say.

You are not the first and you will not be the last to say that.

Check valve was the first thing for the SRT4 community. I had been doing diesel trucks for about 8 years at that point and before that was chevy and ford performance rigs. I didn't get into turbos until '92 and we really didn't get involved until '99 when I was on my 3 or 4 AWD Talon. That is when the bug hit. I had plans on opening my own shop then I hurt my shoulder's in a really bad fall, since then I have been just playing around with the turbo cars till I can get real serious (still not "real" serious about getting power out of these cars). In the next 12 months we should have some real head turning cars out there running deep into the 10's.

nice, so you would have some extensive knowledge of the turbos that come on turbo diesel trucks, if so i have a garrett turbo it huge and im making a custom turbo kit around it, i would just like to know what turbo it is and what are the specs on it, it has a 4 inch intake and what looks like a 3 vband exhaust outlet.....if you have this knowledge i can get you numbers off it or a pic..
