Default Connecting a boost sensor/keeping stock gauge

I have a new Zeitronix 3.5bar boost sensor that I need to connect to be datalogged. Without using the line that the Gauge is connected where is a good place to connect it?

for my zeitronix... i tapped into the intake manifold (i use a vacuum/boost block for all my connections)..

i used 1/8" emissions line as the boost sensor has a small port for the line....

my sensor is tucked (zip tied)under the battery tray..

make sure to wrap up the sensor after you get it working properly with a generous amount of electrical tape... this will extend it's life and keep it cooler....

cheers

I assume you removed the intake manifold to tap it? Do you remember what size fitting you used and where you got it?

my intake manifold.. teh bottom... has no lines run to it..... just a 4" peice of silicon tube with a large bolt stuffed into it....

i have one vacuum block ran off the port on the dr. side of the intake mani.. by the throttle body...... it has diff fittings on it (diff. size for diff line)... (one large for thte brake booster and a bunch of 3/8, 1/4, and one 1/8 which i had to "tap" for the zeitronix guage)...

this block is used for the brake booster and all other pressure/vacuum sources...

vacuum blocks can be found/sourced @ summit and any hot-rod shop (if they are a tru hot-rod shop)

you could prolly make your own w/a good welder... tap it and install fittings....

cheers

These guys should direct you in the proper direction. All you need is to find a manifold point of boost source and you should be good to go.

similar... but that's not what you need (it could prolly be modified to work... but i'd rather get the right thing first and not have to modify it)....

all you need is a pressure tight box with ports on it (brass fittings) for your vacuum/source lines....

Do you have a picture of what I need? Or can you give me the name of the exact part? Goodman High Performance is right down the street and sells all kinds of fittings. If I could show him a picture of exactly what I need he can give it to me.

just tell em you need a vacuum block.... it cleans up the engine bay and you source all of your vac/boost from it....

You can find them online or on ebay. Get a good metal unit, not those cheap ass plastic ones.

Well now that I know what to get I can just go to Goodman Highperformance. They are right down the street and supply anything and everything you could attach a line to, run something through, or attach something with.
