The S3 clutch that I ordered, we will be looking at putting that in real soon since I think my stocker is finally slipping so I want to get this in there in the next 2 weeks. Just wanted to ask, I didn't get the light weight fly wheel, just the clutch and some other part in the package, do I need anything else to do the install? I am assuming I am going to need to refill my tranny fluid and use friction modifier as well right? I will be back in the states later this week so I guess I will have to try to find some, any suggestion where exactly? Otherwise I will check with the dealership.
Yeah, you shouldn't need anything else for the install other than what the clutch came with.(Modular setup with clutch & steel flywheel, Throw-out bearing) Just need time, tools to pull tranny and pick up some new tranny fluid. Also, get some locktite for the driveplate and clutch bolts. If the Mopar ATF+4 fluid and modifier is working good for you, then you can stick with it. Myself and others have switched to different brands/types, but these trannies seem to have there own fluid that they like. Some peoples' trannies like one type of fluid and some don't. Just need to find a fluid that your tranny likes and stick with it.
Well, we got the MOPAR ATF +4 over here but no friction modifier. Can anyone give me brands or what I should be looking for when I go home (connecticut) on the 22 - 27 March. I will pick it up while I am in the states and bring it back with me. How much do we use of it? Just need to know if I need to bring back more than one bottle or not.

I believe it is just 4oz. of the Friction Modifier that is needed with the Mopar ATF+4. Mopar has the friction modifier.
I would also recommend Amsoil Slip-Lock Differential Additive (ADA)
and Amsoil Synthetic Universal Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF)
if you can get Amsoil products.
The Amsoil Slip-Lock is a friction modifier.
Either route you go, just use the 4oz bottle with the 2-2.3quarts of ATF tranny fluid.
Thank you. With the GB now going I suspect that there will be a huge request on these.
i hope you have the second batch on order already.
Yes they are on the way. Looks like 11 units have already sold, they will be shipping this coming week and we have enough to go around so no worries about that.
hey john i'm at 680 miles right now, i was planning on waiting until 1000 to start doing anything but i'm' seeing a lot of ppl here starting to do 3rd gear pulls so i'm wondering if i should start. Also, have any of you guys had that vibration and if so when did it go away? My vibration has gotten better but it is still present. Thanks guys. can't wait to do some pulls
