oh yeah. if you guys are wondering how the lightened flywheel feels ask daryl (04SRTMAN), he took my car for a spin to go get some groceries tonight and my girl could not stop laughing. she said he had SUCH a hard time trying to figure my car out and to even get it off the line. I find it even funnier since i told him "be careful it likes to rev"

He could not believe that it could rev that fast.
LMAO @ Daryl. i think Daryl also need an updated driver mod. it is a big difference from the stock one. 650 miles and running strong.
I've got 100k+ on my stock clutch and was wondering if I order the Stg.2 or 3 clutch, can I just order the clutch and be fine, or do I need to also buy a flywheel? I just found out I I have to pay uncle sam back after fileing income taxes, and shattered my ideas of new mods. I have to cut back now money wise

The PTP Clutches already come with a steel flywheel as an assembly with the clutch, so there is no need to buy a separate flywheel since the PTP Clutches come with it.
If you wanted a lighter aluminum flywheel, that is extra.
well i did my first real RUNS on the clutch. oh man did it feel good. also i have my HOM working now. i pulled a 478WHP 03 cobra. the flywheel powers really came out in these runs. i now have 950 miles on here. Stage 3 clutch and flywheel. PTP FTW
I am ready to get one of these Stage 3's. If I paypal the $$$ over, how fast can you ship out john? I left you a couple messages on the phone.
John mailed me one to my overseas APO box and it got here within 2 weeks. That is awesome timing for overseas shipments through the USPS. I think it was like just over 7 days or so that it arrived.
If i could just get a response......is there anybody out there?
There is another guy ou there selling another clutch that I'm looking at (yellow). This clutch is better? Why? Sell me & you can have my $$$ right now.

Read through the thread. Plenty of new buyers with zero issues. Plenty of stories involving GREAT customer service and fast shipping. He gets bajillions of PMs a day, and has yet to fail in replying to every inane, random question I've ever sent him. He was curteous and helpful BEFORE I spent money with him and the same after. He went out of his way to get me information that helped me ensure my clutch installation was done properly (by a dealership, in fact).
If you still have doubts, look around and take the time to read the accounts of others. I have yet to hear one negative thing about his service or his parts. He backs it all up 110%.
I'm sure it sounds like I'm brown nosing, or I have something to gain from this...but honestly, when's the last time you ever bought something from a company, online or otherwise, when you were genuinely impressed and overall very happy with the transaction? Other than my experience with John, I can't recall the last time I was this pleased with letting go of money. That's enough for me to give him my full support in return.
Good luck deciding...I know I did my research before I spent my money, and I think it's smart that you're doing the same.

Goto the site and order away, I can ship NDA but be ready for an additional $125 charge. We have them in stock so order it and it will ship the next day after the order.

This clutch has a warranty and we have had zero slipping issues. This thread should tell you why its better, but if I have to:
Not one cluch has slipped
12 month warranty (agains deffects not abuse, we know the difference)
Each and every clutch has been tested to reach the goals that we have set for them.
Stage one has held 400 TQ and 330 WHP
Stage 2 has held 440 TQ and 360 WHP
Stage 3 has held 500 TQ and 505 WHP
Stage 4 has held 585 TQ and 605 WHP
Stage 5 should hold 700 TQ and 750 WHP (testing should be done this summer)
Now that we have actual tests done on the clutches with real cars we know the limits of them. If there is any thing that sells you on these clutches it should be the fact that stg 1 - 4 are full face units. We dont use "puck" set ups for our street clutches. Reason being, I hate clutch chatter and the full face set ups drive better then the stockers by far (positive engaugement not the letting off a sponge feeling that the stocker offers). Well if that doesnt sell you then nothing will. The site tracks inventory so you should be good to order a stage 3 since we have 3 more instock. Order away and if the order is in there before 10 AM then it will ship tomorrow.

Damn, some very nice things said there. Thanks. If you look at the "About Us" on the site you will see that is where we stand, and that is with the customer. The speed parts industry has been beat up by everyone wanting to work out of there moms basement. But some very large and profitable companies started that way as well. We dont want to be "take a number and we will be with you in 3 minutes" type of deal. If I dont pick up the phone its because on I am on the other line with a customer. I will call you back in 24 to 48 hours most occations and PM's and emails get answered in that time frame as well. There is no reason to be another "Sumit, Jegs, or Howells" They all have the big money but have just poor customer realtions/service. I will make sure that as we grow I will keep that CS even if it mean I have to take a pay cut to make that happen. That will make us different and keep our customers coming back. Now if I could just get everyone of them to tell at least 3 people about how happy there were with us. Its to bad that most keep the good to themselfs and rant about the bad.

Very true...but most PTP customers on this site haven't been shy about representing for you guys. As for spreading the word to others, you could always introduce a referral program. A. Anyone who receives great customer service shouldn't have any issues telling someone about it, B. If they do, there'd be some incentive for them to take a few minutes, tell a friend and either fill out a short form or go by e-mail address, and C. It could be dependent on money spent. IE. You get so much store credit in return depending on how much the referral spends, etc. All kinds of ways to do it.
I know a lot of companies sacrifice things as they grow, just to be big or an industry leader...but 90% of them I won't and haven't bothered doing business with because of personal experience or reputation. It's really too bad. I know people have ZERO issues telling the entire world when they've had a bad experience...and when they have a good, it's not always the same. It's definitely difficult to maintain a spotless record as you get bigger, but if that's your primary focus and goal, I think you'll do fine and retain the business of a lot of people.
