They went out yesterday. They were supposed to ship on Tuesday but we realized they sent us the wrong filters, but we had the right ones NDA and now all orders are out and we still have plenty left.

Well I could have sent you the one with the wrong filter, but it would have done you no good. I did have all of them boxed up and ready to ship, but John tried installing one on a customers car and realized it was the wrong filter. I had to re-open all the boxes and pull those filters out. We did everything we could to get the new filters here ASAP, and now all orders are out.
ugh...well, i'm going to have to ghetto rig my car so i can get it back to my house. what a waste of time, i was waiting for this to get here to do everything at once.
my coolant block by the filter is leaking bad, and i didn't do anything to fix it since the big filter kit was supposed to have been shipped already.
Quality control issues like this are unacceptable. Before somebody posts that units are available for shipping, it should be ready. PERIOD. None of this test fitting bullshit and filters that didn't fit AFTER it was posted that complete kits were ready to ship.

I understand shit happens, but we should have been made aware that shipping of all 100 kits was delayed. Instead we've been sitting here waiting by the mailbox for a package that hasn't even been shipped yet.

You know I am sorry that you are pissed off, but I am glad that we were able to catch this before they all shipped, because I am sure you would have been really mad if after you received it we realized it was the wrong filter, then you would have had to send it back to us and that would have takin even longer. It was an honest mistake from the supplier and luckily we were able to fix it.
We could have ran to the store for the filter if push came to shove. The mans car is broke and everybody in PTP just sat on a blanket statement saying they shipped Monday.

exactly. I would have gone to autozone and bought a new filter, sent you the wrong one back, and then kept the replacement you sent me for the next time i change my oil.
Hell, i would have bought it without the filter, i just need the hardware to get the car back on the road. You guys including a filter is just a bonus, its not some magical PTP oil filter nor is it the last filter the car will ever see.

You know your payment from paypal didn't even clear until 04/22/08, so it shipped the day after that on the 23rd. I can PM you all the paypal details if you want.

Now you're just reaching to find justification for delaying my shipment. If you knew on 4/21 that my payment hadn't cleared paypal you wouldn't have told me that it was going to ship. You would have said, "I'm sorry Mike your paypal hasn't cleared yet, so when it does we'll ship your product." And I would have been fine with that.
But you didn't. You sent me a PM reply saying that it would ship on Monday, so I took your word for it, despite the fact that I accidentally clicked "eCheck" on paypal instead of instant transfer and it wouldn't clear for another 2 days.

All I am saying is that they didn't go out until Wednesday because we had the wrong filter. Maybe you would have been comfortable sending someone the wrong one, but I was not, and I support my decision to hold off until I got the right one. I am sorry for the TWO extra days. You two can bash me all you want, I am a big girl and I can handle it.

you knew you told us it would ship monday. you delayed shipment. all it would have took was a quick post that said, "Hey guys, our supplier sent the wrong filter. We're not going to ship anything until this is resolved. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks for doing business with PTP "
I would have been annoyed, but not this pissed off.
I don't know if you understand that people do work full time, and can only work on their cars at specific times. I took tomorrow off to finish my car because I was counting on all the parts to get here. S&P sent me my stuff right on time, and you guys told me you shipped what I ordered.
I've been sitting on my new parts from S&P since Monday.
I'm lucky enough to have a friend (Philth) to let me borrow his daily driver so that I'm not out of a car. If the filter kit doesn't get here by mid-day tomorrow, I wont be able to work on my car again until next Friday.
