Quoted 4 troof son. I dont care WHO makes what. The end result is competetive prices and that's all any consumer should care about. And for all of you that are remaining faithful to X vendor/company regardless of price, you're not going to personally gain anything from it. The vendors complaining about copying each other....fail. It's American business and economics and SRTForums is certainly not exempt from it.
It takes load off the oil pump gears. Thus allowing free HP (not enough to measure I am sure) and more oil to the motor. For you application its perfect, one will be getting shipped with your rewire kit, if you get what I mean (don't send any money). Thanks.
Thanks,
Lets pray that it doesnt rain here for the next 4 thursdays. That way the car will be in perfect tune for what I told you about in the PM. I am praying I can get it where I know it can be for that. I think if it truly happens everyone will be quite surprised and happy, nothing but good things can come from it.
Got my tracking number today. I have an oil pan gasket leak, too, so I'll be clearing that up when I get your hardware and take off DCR's unit to replace with yours. Thanks, John!

Darrell has already said it was a knockoff of theirs
Of course he is going to say that, but I can see the PM's he is getting about the spacer plate. I bet he comes up with some sort of hyd pressure and it being a bad thing for the motor typical shit.
fram lists it as PH9100
and a link to the fram site that tells all the rest of the compatible filter
"http://www.power-21.com/honeywellpower21i/Part.aspx?b=F&pn=ph9100&em=True"
hope this helps guys
Jay
ok since that link doesn't take you wehre it is supposed to try the one above should take you from the search page...list is down below take the quotes out when copying
That was the wrong part number that I gave you. Sorry fat fingers got the better of me. Try 3001.
damn 2 sst's...2 SB stg 3 clutches...ported manifold...charge pipe...and a slew of other misc shit(all in the past 10 monthes) and I cant be a free test mule.... jk ill buy when my fucking car turns over
You know we will have you covered, just ask next time.
darrell wrote this: Just so there is no confusion. If you want ours with studs and nuts we can upgrade for free but it is not needed at all. (simply specify in your order) Its hard to improve something that is in no need of improvement. If you want a spacer and two gaskets that is also not needed at all we make them as well and can send either at no charge. (simply specify in your order)Our first design in 2002 was with a spacer...but after years of running these with just the gaskets it was just an extra process that was not needed and a waste of time and money. I think its funny but we can do either. Its your choice and it is just there way of knocking off a already proven product from DCR.
Also if you want an extra one K&N HP-3001 one quart oil filter with your order just add in $9.50.
I think its funny that now all of a sudden he can offer both types(nuts and bolts or studs...and a spacer or just o rings) but theres no difference in performance yet he will start to knock off the knock of guys modification. Just wow, are we in sales or are we in the business of helping car enthusiats' make there car faster?
I think I said it earlier on, but figures. Now I would really like to see these spacer plates from "there 2003 design" and if it was so great back then why change it? I mean I have seen several complain about there DCR kit leaking and he has had a fix this whole time for it? Odd. I guess it like every other part he makes. He has the street, racing, dyno proof to back up his products but never comes forward with that info when the time comes or he is asked to provide it. I guess having a factory sponsored car that runs 7's but breaks ever other pass is what it takes to make you a pompus ass in the car industry. Making my call to Dodge right now.

Can someone who has a leaky dcr kit please chime in?
Mine is sealed tight.
... and do we really need studs for little bolts that are torqued to 10ish ft/lbs??

I have a leaky once, hence the reason I only needed the PTP hardware. Mine is leaking between the gaskets. Very slowly, but the leak is present. And don't say the system was installed incorrectly because I'm very competent in the automotive work I do, and this is an easy-ass mod to install.
I'm glad yours doesn't leak; good for you. Hundreds of others have leak free ones, too; however, I am not going to stick with O-ring upon O-ring when there's a vendor that offers an actual SPACER. I do not see any throttle body spacers to be a plethora of gaskets with a claim of "well they don't leak." I find this more detrimental, however, since we're talking about your oil system.
I'm glad other vendors are bringing DCR exclusives to the table, most of them improved much. Now I'm even T'd that I have the DCR oil pump when I find out there in fact HAVE been failures and their 100% success rate is simply bs.
