That will just confirm that my kit is better. I will however offer another filter for the kit (so you have a spare on the shelf for your next oil change) for another $10.

So for $59 you get 2 filters and the big filter kit, does that sweeten the deal a little better for you? Saves you $4 on buying your next filter.

Agreed. Lowering the price of these now would seem somewhat silly. If DCR's kit also had a machined spacer then that'd be a different story, but since yours is still superior in the hardware it contains, lowering the price to combat $40 would be pretty silly at this point.

It takes load off the oil pump gears. Thus allowing free HP (not enough to measure I am sure) and more oil to the motor. For you application its perfect, one will be getting shipped with your rewire kit, if you get what I mean (don't send any money). Thanks.

Yes it would and I even thought about the initial price drop to be serious. But the additional filter for $10 should sweeten the deal for those that want to get something additional.

We are not here to market "others products" if can make it then I will but I always put a little effort into it. If changes can be made then so be it, lets make them if it makes for a better product for the end user. I hope that everyone can see that this is not a copy or a remake of the DCR kit, this is our kit and we took the time to make it worth of putting the PTP name on it.

Thanks for all the sales so far we have already sold 15 units and expecting to see more kits leave next week. 100 kits are instock and ready for shipping so we are good for a while.

If we already bought the kit can we upgrade to the 2 filter kit or have they already shipped out?

Somehow I doubt it would take anything to get Aaron to "fool around."

Just so there is no confusion. If you want ours with studs and nuts we can upgrade for free but it is not needed at all. (simply specify in your order) Its hard to improve something that is in no need of improvement. If you want a spacer and two gaskets that is also not needed at all we make them as well and can send either at no charge. (simply specify in your order)Our first design in 2002 was with a spacer...but after years of running these with just the gaskets it was just an extra process that was not needed and a waste of time and money. I think its funny but we can do either. Its your choice and it is just there way of knocking off a already proven product from DCR.

Also if you want an extra one K&N HP-3001 one quart oil filter with your order just add in $9.50.

I think its funny that now all of a sudden he can offer both types(nuts and bolts or studs...and a spacer or just o rings) but theres no difference in performance yet he will start to knock off the knock of guys modification. Just wow, are we in sales or are we in the business of helping car enthusiats' make there car faster?

When should we expect to see the product? I ordered mine on the 17th. I am not in any hurry, but was just wondering.

its competition like this that drives prices down. you see how quickly things get discounted when there are competitors offering products that are just as good / better.

Quoted 4 troof son. I dont care WHO makes what. The end result is competetive prices and that's all any consumer should care about. And for all of you that are remaining faithful to X vendor/company regardless of price, you're not going to personally gain anything from it. The vendors complaining about copying each other....fail. It's American business and economics and SRTForums is certainly not exempt from it.
