Good god guys! The oil cooler has a very small opening for the oil to transfer through. By eliminated that bottleneck, you reduce strain on your oil pump. Removal of the oil cooler will yield oil temps about 8-10 degrees hotter so certainly not enough to amount to a hill of beans. Good mod, imo.

I have seen/heard its an epidemic lately of removing their parts and replacing with higher grade components. Kudos for the ideas on some things, but thats how it goes in this business
