Default BIG filter kit for your SRT4N? Yep, get them while you can!!!

So we have been thinking, why stack to gaskets that have o-rings stacked on top of o-rings? That can only leed to something bad (2 o-rings never seal correctly and slip on each other).

I take the time to think about this big filter kit and come up with this...

PTP's big filter kit, what you get with our kit:

3 Studs and washered nuts for the install (not bolts)
Great K&N filter
2 stock gaskets (typical with the other kits)
plug to block the coolant lines
PTP's spacer plate

Why the spacer for the install kit? Because stacking 2 gaskets on top of each other never sat well with me. They leak (ask around you will see that others have complained about this) at the mating point of the two gaskets. I mean would you stack two head gaskets on top of each other? Didn't think so.

Why studs and not bolts? This is a no-brainer, duh studs will hold better and retain the tension over a longer time. The bolts do not get enough clamping force to crush both the gaskets down with out stripping the aluminum pan that they thread into. Studs are a much better option for this upgrade then bolts.

So with all this said how much is this going to run you? $49.99 shipped on the GB we are now having. Send PP to ptperformance@comcast.net, mark payment as "GB big filter kit SRT4" and make sure we have a good shipping address. The regular price is over $70 shipped so this is a great deal to save on shipping and get a big filter kit while you can. I have 100 sets in stock and ready to ship when I get payment, thanks guys.

Make sure you make a post in here when you send payment, thanks.

One of the pictures only show 2 studs and nuts because we have all the other sitting down at the bolt store. Picking them up today. The kits will come with all the studs and nuts needed for the install. Thanks.

Figures as much, but does he have the studs to hold his kit to the block? NO. Does he have the spacer? NO. So dropping his prices is only going to make him look silly, but..... new price for our kit is now up . Lets see how far he will drop the price for an inferior big filter kit.

We can do the spacer and studs package separate if need be. Hows $15.00 shipped for them sound?

PRICE WAR!!! "Parking lot, behind school, 3 oclock and your ass is grass!!!"

That dude is a joke, hes starting fights about his manifold in another thread...I laughed when a local blew his option B(the hands down strongest engine on the market, can I haaz the ion metal parts for mah neon)

But that was kept under wraps. And then Ghost-1 drops 15k + on his car just with DCR parts and now his tranny cant hold the power?? Shit give him a deal on one of your autos, didnt he fucking earn your business?

Rant done

Good idea with the spacer and the studs. Can't argue with that price either!

Hmmm well I have the DCR kit as well, but no coolant line plugs...I just rerouted the lines(not a good idea at all), but thats how it is. Could I get the plugs to plugs the coolant holes so I can get rid of the bulging hose?
