okay i figured out my problem i think anyways. its had a misfire code and it runs kinda crappy since i bought it from the guy and when i bought it he was like oh it also has 03 injectors for some reason. me not knowing the 03's were 527ccs and the 04s are 577ccs didnt care. then i thought about it when i couldnt figure out my misfire or crappy idle. anyone know where to get ahold of stock 04 577cc injectors? rock auto has 4 of them for 83$ total.Also do you just remove the fuel rail to remove them? advice would be helpfull, thanks

bleed all the presure off the fuel rail before you begin via the shrader valve on fuel rail or let car sit for a couple of hrs if it has been started then all you do is unbolt the fuel rail pop out the old injectors then lube the new ones (grease, brake grease) pop the 04 injectors in and prime the fuel system by turning the ingnition key on and off then start car

![]() May as well go bigger than 04 527 ccs, well thats what my excuse would be. Oh crap my srt4 has 03 injectors in it, well may as well buy some Deatschwerks 750 cc injectors and a Walbro high flow fuel pump while im at it.

Thaaaaat is not how you flush the fuel lines in these cars ('04/'05 doesn't even HAVE a Schrader valve) . You pull the fuel pump relay (under hood) and start the car until it dies. Then attempt to start the car a few more times until the lines are empty. Takes 5 minutes TOPS. OP, have you checked the coilpack/wires/plugs? A misfire can also be caused by a leaking intake manifold gasket.

03 injectors shouldnt cause a misfire. It would just lead to positive fuel trims and going lean during wot.

is fuel gonna gush out or anything when i do that? ive never done anything with fuel systems, infact the most ive ever done before i had this car was an alternator or a starter but now this car has forced me to learn how to drop a trans and other junk. i think being a mecahnic is more of a self confidence thing than anything else.
